“Waterview cottage is comfortable and very clean. The accommodations look new and we had good sleep. The kitchen has most of the necessary equipment for meal preparation. A baking sheet pan is needed. WiFi and Roku TV was excellent. The primary bedroom bed was so tall/high my wife could not get in or out of it. That necessitated sleeping in the 2 twins. “We had a lovely weekend stay at Ruby’s sea glass cottage. It is newly renovated, completely outfitted with every amenity you could want or need, and walking distance to the beach and park. We enjoyed playing pickleball on the park’s courts and riding bicycles, grilling out and eating on the back porch, and sleeping in the comfortable beds! We were even entertained on the rainy morning as we played games and worked puzzles that the owner has on hand. A fantastic home that we heartily recommend!”

“It was me, my son and my sister staying. The grounds were beautiful, and we fed the goats too! It was late season, so no pool or any relaxing outdoors. Brrr. Traffic is light in the area so it was easy to get in a 2+ mile walk and see the local neighborhoods. As it was mentioned in the listing (but not obvious in the photos), you have to walk through the bunk room to get to the master bedroom, and the door to the upstairs bath doesn't offer total privacy. “The townhouse is in the perfect location for a weekend in Manayunk - easy walk to restaurants and train station. It’s on a quiet side alley/street which we appreciated. The renovation is tastefully done with special attention to making the most of small spaces and the gas fireplace heater was a lovely touch. High end appliances, good mattresses and lovely linens/towels. The stairs are steep but I am an agile 72 year old and with the handle bar and railings had no problems getting up and down.……

“Great location for our weekend. Rental property does not have shampoo or soap as advertised. This was really annoying, we had to run out and get some. There were Ants all over the house, in the kitchen, bathrooms, living room. We even found an ant in our shoe. Also the sheets weren’t that clean. There was hair in between the sheets. I ended up sleeping on the top blanket with a blanket I bought. Also not really 3 bedrooms. The one “bedroom” doesn’t even have a door and opens up to the dining……

Located in a private neighborhood with dead end streets, it was quiet and peaceful. Sue the owner was quickly responsive when we had any questions. We are recommending the cottage to our family.”
