I didnt even check in or attempt to when I saw that the office was run down and the paper sign said office in room 150. There was no using the pool AT ALL and 3 of 4 hotels buildings had caution tape on them from being condemned. Website should let someone know there was no way my 2 yr old was staying there. Refund and apology would be nice.

I really want to give this place the benefit of the doubt, it looks like their either in the middle of a remodel or there was something wrong in one of the buildings. The building where the office normally is, was closed. There were hand written signs saying the "office" was in room 150. The "office" was one of the rooms with the window open and the screen pushed out. I honestly couldn't even see the person I was talking to, it was like a bad drug movie scene. The whole place felt unsafe and run down. The room itself was at least clean and no bugs. However it had no toiletries, ice bucket, cups or coffee. It had two beds, a night stand, a chair and a mini-fridge.. that was all. The grounds were run down and dirty, there were several rooms that looked like people lived in, people were out front or sitting in their rooms with the doors open. It was a very uncomfortable environment. All that being said, it was a $40 room, and I guess I pretty much got a $40 hotel. I hope they're able to get whatever is going on at this place corrected. It seems to have potential, it just needs a lot of work.

It is the best price I found so close to Colonial Williamsburg. It also had on site coin laundry. The rooms could have been a bit cleaner and the sheets should have been replaced. But the staff was quick in providing new sheets.

Rooms were not properly cleaned before arrival. First room had a faulty smoke alarm which kept going off, second room had a strong animal smell, third room had a breaker which kept going off, meaning the electricity on one wall, including one light and TV were not working. They offered to move to another room but I declined considering the rooms. Vacuuming was not done before moving into the room.

The place was a dump. There was paperwork on the front door stating the place was condemned and all occupants were to vacate the premises. We got stuck eating the cost of this place because no refund! How in the world is this place even available to book when the place was supposedly shut down last year? (That’s the date on the paperwork)

This place should be shut down... Yes I did get in really late but i called to tell them what time i would arrive...But anyway i couldn't get the door open at first then when i finally did Oh Boy how disgustung... there was hair in the bed..no pillowcases on pillows that looked like someone threw up on them...mold in the frig...lil red bugs that look like they were Killed with the sheet that had red stains on it....I literally had to find a different place to stay at 5am bc i couldnt b there...I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone...what a dump...

Unsafe Structure Unfit For Habitation
Terrible experience. There is a sign posted by the City of Williamsburg on the front window of the office stating that the structure is unsafe and is unfit for habitation. Decided to look at the room anyway and it was dirty and reeked of smoke. Did not stay there. Had to book another hotel in the area. Do not go here! Also I'd like a refund as I couldn't stay at this hotel.

room was extremely filthy. stained sheets, floors and bathroom never cleaned. there was actually boogers on the light fixtures! hair in shower and bed sheets. duct tape on door as seal! it appeared that most rooms were permanent guests all seemed to be on drugs. in the walkways screaming at each other at 2am. someone had a dog that was barking for almost an hour at 4am. worst experience I've ever had in a motel.i wasn't expecting 4 stars for the price I paid but a semi clean room vs potentially walking barefoot without catching a disease would've been a nice thought.

The room was small and dirty. There were stains on the walls, and the toilet was usable, but had enough issues that were not addressed. It worked for the short term, but not going to waste my money on another stay.

My stay at Motel 6 was a very bad experience.One night there was so much noise and banging that we did not sleep all night.The rooms were cold. The water was not hot nor did we have water on a day of our stay and we we're supposed to have our room cleaned daily during our stay so I called down to tell them and ask for towels and was told I could come pick up towels so I did and was told if I needed wash cloths they did not have any available. I was very dissatisfied with my stay and would not recommend motel 6 to anyone.
