Food: think prison food at the food hall “the yard”. The hibachi is in an area where birds can poop on the grill. The sushi was tuna salad in rice, carrot in rice, and a mystery fish in rice.
Drinks: Super weak. We drank for multiple days and never got a buzz. They often are out of products or never had them to begin with ie: no lime, no olive juice, sometimes even don’t have common supplies like wine at the bar.
Staff: some were very nice, but the general rule was rude. You feel bad asking for even water. We had to wait an extra hour to get into our hotel.
Amenities: the beach is actually nice and pool was not bad. The hotel room we had was spacious (not a sun club member). We heard other people (to include sun club members did not have AC in their rooms).
Overall: We ended up leaving our 7-day stay early and going to another local hotel. While our experiences at Sunscape was soured, Curacao has some incredible beautiful beaches, people, and culture. We had a fantastic time snorkeling, driving to beaches, and indulging in proper cocktails.
