I don’t usually review anything bad but this one is something I have to comment. This hotel would have to be the worst “premium” hotel I’ve stayed in my 25 years of weekly travel globally.
Upon checking in we were just given our key cards with no info on restaurant opening hours, no room service, wifi, their supposed no room make up/cleaning bcos of covid, and there’s nothing in the room including paper pad and a pen. We were told off pretty rudely about availability of dinner when checking in that we either go eat now or after 8pm.
Second night we went back to hotel for dinner and we’re only told the restaurant wasn’t opened. It’s 7.30pm on Sat and we had to go all the way to the old town for food. We can’t even get a cup of coffee at the hotel .
When responded by the hotel manager about our issues she said it’s part of covid hence no room cleaning . But hey at least we should know when booking or checking in. The tone of the email were not very sincere either.
Upon checking out i walked by the cleaner cleaning or polishing the floor. I apologised that I needed to walk by and she clearly showed me a very agitated look
I feel a sense of discrimination at this hotel or arrogance . Certainly not a place I’ll return only bcos unless I’m a Leica lover.
On the bright side the food and restaurant service were great . The waitresses at the restaurant are the only thing that made me feel that I’m in a hotel throughout our stay
