"We stayed here because it is extremely convenient to the Amtrak Station. We were late checking in but the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good. The building itself is really quite nice - previously a federal reserve bank. I Don’t miss checking out the vaults in the basement! "

"I booked this property because it had a rooftop bar. When we got there, the bar was not open the day we were staying. We were very disappointed with our stay because of this, had I known it was closed on Sundays I would have booked elsewhere. The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, decor and vibe was great, restaurant was excellent, elevators smelled good too! "

"A beautiful gem! This historic mansion turned boutique hotel is adorable. The original stained glass and carved wood grand staircase are breath taking. Keep in mind this is a 19th Century home, so the floors are creaky and the walls are thin, but there aren't that many rooms so it's not super busy. My only negative comment would be the ability for the room to cool down. It was a little stuffy and in our room the vent really only cooled the sitting area and not where our bed was located. "This is a very nice hotel with spectacular views. It’s slightly dated, but that is also what gives this hotel its charm. You can tell it’s been around for awhile and has a lot of history. The dinner was delicious, the beds were comfortable, and the fireplace in the lobby was wonderful. My only complaint is there was a wedding taking place when we stayed, and for the most part, it was fine.
