"Cute for 2 people, but if you have trouble with steps look for a different location. Bed in main bedroom was VERY tall off the ground and hard to get into for a 5 foot tall woman. Clean property, but although sleeps 6 is stated in rental, it was comfortable for myself and my friend on our girls weekend. Give local restaurant Black Bear Tavern a 5 star rating also. "We had previously visited Frederick last November and had only been able to spend a little bit of our visit in Historic Frederick. We loved staying in historic Frederick and the property was unique, very clean and well laid out. I should have realized was that 'penthouse' in a historic home would mean steps. I am blind in one eye and have poor physical balance so carrying luggage up stairs is challenging. Nonetheless, we loved the layout and amenities of the property. The view from the deck was...

"Property was nice. Hot tub was amazing. Didn't find the keys at first for the hot tub. Called the property management company and they never followed up but we ended up finding them on the fridge. When we arrived the emails and texts didn't list the door access so we had to call about that. Otherwise very nice and more affordable on fees than other places I looked at. There were dishes left in the dishwasher that weren't precleaned properly but we only stayed for 2 nights so I just hand washed...

"The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience."

"*The property was much smaller in person than it appeared online. *There was a spider infestation in the basement, which minimized our usage of that bathroom. *The doors that lead to the balcony, in the living room area did not lock which was a security issue for us. *The windows, cabinets and headboards on the beds were not clean. *The entrance in and out of our rental property was not easy to access. "Property was perfect for us since our daughter lived near by. Restaurants and grocery store were very close. We loved all the room for spreading out and relaxing. Lots of televisions so we could all watch what we wanted. We will certainly rent again."

"We had a great stay at Will O Wisp. The staff was very attentive and helpful when we had questions. Our only little complaints would be that the sauna wasn’t working, after we asked several times when it would be fixed and it never was. Also, the pool hours are too short. At least we thought they were. However, we had a great trip. Definitely would come back to stay again"

"Very cozy location. My wife and I stayed for our anniversary and enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was amazing and very clean. It was the perfect place for us and we would definitely recommend it. The only thing I would change would be to have a larger shower but it served its purpose. Great place with plenty of activities for all ages."
