"If you are on a budget then Kings Paget Hotel has the advantage over some nearby chain hotels because parking is free (possibly limited numbers as the carpark was full during the lockdown and the hotel might not have been) compared to the nearest chain hotel which was a couple of pounds more expensive per night PLUS charged £5/night parking. The downside is it a bit shabby but the staff were pleasant, room had a very hot radiator which was handy for drying wet clothes, there was a full size...

"Close to Heathrow but not too close, room is in excellent condition, seemed newly reno'd, having the kitchenette was great, note no tv - a plus in my view, no tv noise from neighboring rooms, great for an overnight stay before/after a flight. I found the bed a bit soft for me but that's a personal preference anyhow."

I got a random guest of the day and got some extra biccies and note in my room- nice additional touch. Breakfast was good- usual cooked food, continental, cereals, & breads. Plenty and refreshed frequently. Caught town bus from bus station in Heathrow- they come every few mins, takes 5 mins (2 stops), stop is right outside hotel. And costs just 1.75. U3 bus takes you to LHR and comes every 10 mins. City bus way cheaper than hotel shuttle and cab. I’ve come in and out of Heathrow using National Express. Pack and also the Tube - both easy to use for onward or return adventures. First left turn and just down the road you can find a Portuguese cafe and next to it a small shop for snacks. Opposite that is a nice and good sized playground if you have little ones A bit further along Bath Road and left you can find an Indian deli, and further along Bath Road (still only ten mins) there is a McDonalds. I’d definitely stay here again. Happy travels! "
