Good location!
Beach dreams cottage was a great launching spot for our trip to Wells/Ogunquit area. Very quick drive to the area beaches (Moody closest - 2 miles ) and having the pool available was key for our kids to use after spending time at the beach. The cottage had all the basic amenities needed. It was cozy and comfortable, overall clean. I may be particular, but I would have preferred a bit more detail to cleaning since it's not a huge space (I noticed dust/dirt on porch baseboards, dusty window blinds, the AC unit dusty). The hosts were very attentive and communicative and offered a lot of helpful tips. We would definitely consider booking again for a future trip!

Perfect Summer Getaway!
Had a wonderful stay at Beach Dreams with my 3 daughters. The property was very charming, and more than equipped for all our needs. Everything was as described and shown in the listing, and even better in person! Julie and Derek were excellent hosts, not only reaching out to wish us a great stay, but were extremely responsive and helpful with any questions I had. We enjoyed some pool/hot tub time, and took advantage of the proximity to the Wells, Ogunquit and York areas while we were there. I highly recommend this particular property, we had a blast and will absolutely stay here again someday.

Beach Dreams
Our stop at Beach Dreams was the perfect location to break up our trip home between Acadia and Connecticut. We enjoyed all the amenities of condo living and the surrounding area. So much to do and see! We loved Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way. The condo was clean, comfortable, well-stocked and most enjoyable!

Great Cozy Cottage
Our stay at this cottage was perfect. Well appointed, plenty of room inside and out for our group of 4, easy to find and great communication with our host! The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars on location/neighborhood is that we were a bit surprised by its proximity to its neighbors. But it was very quiet and the proximity turned out to be nothing! Super great rental overall!

Great Vacation Spot
This had everything we needed in a place! Having a washer and drier was awesome when traveling with a toddler!! The kitchen was fully equipped and plenty of towels for shower, pool and the beach! It was also great to have the chairs and toys for the beach and not having to worry about packing that kind of stuff. The drive to the beach wasn't that bad, sometimes there would be a lot of traffic built up but either direction you take out you can find a road leading to it. Everyone we ran into was super friendly, the people in the cottage next to us suggested we go to Perkins Cove to walk Marginal Way. We loved it so much we did it twice! All of us had such a great time, our daughter (just turning 2), had so much fun going to the ocean for the first time. Definitely A vacation to remember, highly suggest for people of all ages!! My family of five stayed comfortably in this VRBO. My girls loved having their own room and we were able to fit a smaller sized pack n play in our room for our baby. The kitchen and living room were sufficient for what we needed. The host communication was great- and I appreciated we could use the washer and dryer easily. The place was located less than a 10 minute drive to beaches. It was also nice it was right next to the tennis court as we play tennis. Having access to a swimming pool was a bonus as well. They also provided everything we needed for the beach. The only knock is that I expected a bit more privacy and yard space. The units are right on top of each other so eating outside we had two other units less than five feet away from us. Not the owner fault, it’s how the place was built- but worth noting as I hadn’t looked up the community to know that ahead of time.

A+ experience!
This rental is exactly what we expected from the photos and description. Once there, the beach decor and Julie’s thoughtful touches made us feel immediately comfortable. We had two 13 year old boys with us who loved their bunk beds. The community is safe and they enjoyed their freedom to venture from our unit to go hang out biking, swimming, and playing basketball. They even met girls their age in the pool. The location is an easy bike ride to the Footbridge Beach and into Ogunquit (it’s almost faster bc of the traffic back up on route 1). We will definitely come back next summer!

Excellent Cottage!
This place was great! As soon as we walked in, it was soooooo homey! I have the same style in my home so I felt so at home! This place was immaculate and has so many amenities! My favorite is the porch, great room to relax and read. Was there 10 days and wished we could have stayed longer! Julie and Derek are great hosts and we can’t wait to go back! A+!!

Perfect shore location
What a wonderful cottage! Derek and Julie could not have been better hosts. The place was clean and convenient to the beach and other shore attractions. The pool was nice and the neighbors were friendly. So wonderful that they provided all the things we needed for the beach: chairs, cart, cooler, boogie boards. Just great!

Perfect cottage
This cottage was perfect for our getaway to Maine. It was me and my two teen daughters and they each brought a friend. Perfect amount of space. The cottage was conveniently located between Wells and Ogunquit; the pool was easy to walk to, and the kids even played tennis right behind the house. Everything was clean and exactly as described. Julie and Derek were wonderful to work with and I plan to book for next year as soon as I can!

Great family space
We had a wonderful stay! This cottage is perfect and the location is excellent. We were minutes from the beach and lots of restaurants and things to stay busy. The neighborhood is wonderfully quiet and tucked away from the touristy bustle. We would highly recommend this cottage!!

A cute cozy cottage
This cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was the perfect retreat after spending the day at the beach. We really appreciated that they supplied things like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, salt and pepper, etc. The owners were very nice and easy to contact. We would definitely stay here again.

Extremely tidy, cute and ideal location!
The second we walked in we were amazed at house clean the house was! We thought it was a bit bigger than it actually is, but the size was still ideal for us! They had games, beach chairs, boogie boards, tennis rackets and balls. You name it, they had it. This really helped us pack lighter and bring less bags! Julie was incredibly helpful, and promptly responded when I contacted her! The location was perfect, only a 5 minute drive from the beach and other popular restaurants! I would a million percent go back again.

The cottage was better than described. The place was spotless, the added touches made our vacation! Our 2 1/2 year old grand-daughter was vacationing with us, Julie had outlet covers and cabinet locks in place for us upon arrival. They have thought of everything. We can't wait to book again!!

It was so cozy we didn’t want to leave! But if you do everything is right near by — beaches, restaurants, mini golf etc. it made for a fun and relaxing vacation and the cottage had everything this family of 4 needed to have fun. Highly recommend.

Great little cottage
This cottage was just as pictured in the listing, cute beach decor, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the extra touches including fluffy beach towels, a Keurig with stocked coffee pods, board games (we loved the giant Uno) and a shed with tennis rackets/ balls, and beach chairs ). Very thoughtful touches. The location is just a short drive to the beach and the property has a nice pool (hot tub currently closed due to Covid restrictions).

Cozy Unit
We really enjoyed our stay and the area. The unit is very cute and cozy with very nice furnishings. The only thing that we want to bring to your attention is the oven needed a good cleaning, also the lazy susan cabinet was dirty and the refrigerator needed wiped out, and the rug and some of the furniture was soiled and needed steam cleaned. Overall we really liked this property and if we ever come back to this area we certainly would stay there.

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry about some of your poor experiences at our cottage. We take great pride in ensuring every guest has a wonderful stay. We started using a new cleaning person this month and these issues were addressed with them. We have created a cleaning checklist. We have the cottage professionally steam cleaned twice a season and per your feedback have decided to increase the frequency to monthly. The condo docs do not allow any walkways installed unless you were grandfathered but we are looking into some other solution to prevent dirt on carpets. Please let us know if you come back and we will work something out with you to make up for it. We hope you are able to stay again. Again, thank you for your feeback.

Fantastic cottage in a great location
The well equipped cottage is situated within the Beach Dreams complex which has excellent facilities. Everything you could ever need for the beach was provided at the cottage so that you can enjoy all the excellent beaches nearby without having to bring your own equipment. We loved Ogunquit beach both at high and low tide. Thanks Julie and Derek for your excellent communication and tips. We would love to come every year if we didn’t live so far away!

Great Cottage

Wonderful stay!
We had a terrific vacation thanks to Julie and Derek! The cottage was nice and quiet, with everything we needed (and more) for a week with two young children. Julie even set up a pack and play for us and had a stroller on hand! The location is perfect - close to everything yet a quiet retreat. We visited Ogunquit, Perkins Cove, our favorite places in Wells, Kennebunkport for dinner, Cape Porpoise, Freeport, and of course, daily trips to the pool. Thanks for making our stay so easy so we could focus on the fun!
