"We were 8 lovely ladies, stressed from work and family and life and Hickory Hills was the perfect place to rest and relax in each other’s company. The space is large enough for us to come together or to find a separate space to chill and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the lake. We loved the area and enjoyed shopping and had ice cream at Scoops. We love our time at Hickory Hills again and would absolutely rent again."

"We booked this property to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday with some friends. We loved the privacy out in nature and enjoyed sightings of deer and turtles during our stay. Our hosts provided all amenities we could ever want, including kayaks and SUPs, and each person/couple was able to have their own bed. We had a wonderful time."

"3 sisters and husbands returned to Waupaca to honor our parents that recently passed away. We wanted a home base where we could rest, relax and rejuvenate after our days full of visits to our parents favorite spots and restaurants. This home was perfect in every way. With 3 levels - each couple had their own living room, bedroom and bathroom. The home is lovely and comfortable. The property is beautifully landscaped and there is even a little lake to look upon by the firepit and swing. Location...

"Enjoyed our stay. Nice home in a very quiet neighborhood. Really loved the large porch and its furnishings. Enjoyed our walks along the Crystal River. Close to Waupaca and King with numerous shops and restaurants. Basic kitchen items. We enjoy cooking and there could have been more things in that regard, but we made it work. The owner was kind and quick to respond. It was a pleasant vacation."
