"My husband, dog and I stayed at the Rustic View Cabin May 1-8, 2024. We absolutely loved it. The "cabin" was more a lovely, appointed home. It was quiet and peaceful. The interior was nicely decorated, and the kitchen had everything a cook could want. Our city dog loved the fenced in yard (so many new country smells), and on those occasions when we left to go out to dinner, he was safe and comfortable in the indoor kennel. "My family loves this place! We stayed in the smaller house next door 3 years ago and came back because it is so peaceful. We live just an hour away so this is a perfect escape for a few days of "spring break". It is great just sitting in the hot tub and watching the birds on the river. We will hopefully come back!"

"We came for an extended weekend for a Wollersheim winery tour and a visit to Taliesin. We added a trip to J. Henry as well. (We aborted a trip to Circus World due to the weather) There are two restaurants/ bars within a 5 minute walk from the property. We ate at each, both were good. The down side was Saturnday there was a band till 9pm, loud music till 11pm. Not a deal breaker for us as we sat on the deck listening. The property was very clean and spacious. "What a beautiful, cozy home in an ideal setting. The view is stunning! My family gathered here from various parts of the country to celebrate Christmas. There was even a little Christmas tree for our presents. The hosts are wonderful! Might be making plans to go back in a different season."

"Our family of 3 stayed here for our daughter's graduation from UW Madison. We were so busy that we basically just got to sleep here, but we all said we wished we could come back another time when we could just stay around the Farm - it was so cozy and relaxing! I would recommend cutting the grass and storing your wood in a sheltered area. The wood was too wet to use-we had to purchase some & the grass was long with prickly vines on the stairs.
