Beautiful Lake Sunsets!

Completely remodeled home on Lake Sakatah in Waterville, MN. Enjoy beautiful sunsets in a rural setting. You are a half a mile from the Sakatah Singing Hills bike trail where you can enjoy a bike ride or a walk through the Sakatah State Park. Enjoy a nice warm fire while sitting by the fire pit. If you aren’t in the mood to build a fire, there is also a gas fire pit. Simply push the button, sit back and relax. You also have access to two kayaks, gas grille and four bicycles. One hour from downtown Minneapolis or the Minneapolis airport. Sleeps 4 to 6 with two queen beds and two sectionals.

This is an excellent location for:

Bikers and cross country skiers---Sakatah Singing Hills trail is a 56 miles paved trail from Faribault to Mankato. It’s half a mile away

Kayakers---Immediate access to the lake. There is a bridge that separates Lake Sakatah and lower Sakatah so there is always some calm water on one of the two lakes.

Duck and goose hunters---You are about two hundred yards away from lake access to put in your boats. Lower Sakatah has excellent hunting.

Snowmobilers---Large driveway for trucks and snowmobile trailers. Immediate access to the lake to head to your favorite snowmobile trail. Sakatah Bike trail does allow snowmobiles.

Fishermen---Immediate access to Lake Sakatah. Or head to Lake Tetonka which is one of the top walleye lakes in the region. Sakatah and Tetonka are connected through a channel.

Very peaceful property with easy access to state park
We had a very nice anniversary weekend. The full kitchen is well appointed so we could make our own meals and the views of the water were very peaceful while drinking coffee and relaxing. Very close to state park trails for walking. We enjoyed the fireplace and the views.

Great location
We really enjoyed our stay at Scott’s place. Everything was exactly as expected and more. Very clean and had everything we could have needed. Beds and couches were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and even had some condiments and extras for us to use. Wood for fire pit and bikes were a plus. We used the bikes a couple of times and they were in great working shape. House has beautiful Lake views and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the dock and patio. Area is very quiet.

Perfect lake house
This house is great. We stayed here last summer as well. Scott is great to communicate with and his house is beautiful. Very quiet neighborhood where you can unwind and relax. Very close to a trail we went walking on every morning. It’s the perfect location for us while our daughter is at a figure skating camp.

The home is very well kept, in new condition and well stocked. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, biking the very nearby Sakata Trail, and kayaking with the host's kayaks. The birds singing in the woods were a treat. Scott was immediately available to contact with any questions.

Hidden Gem on Lakefront
This is my second stay at this property and it is a hidden gem. The house is immaculate with the most fantastic views overlooking the lake for birdwatching and spectacular sunsets. Scott is a very attentive host with little touches like drinking water in the fridge, and access to his kayaks and bikes to explore the area. He thinks of everything. I cannot recommend this property enough. It’s quiet and peaceful and the perfect spot to recharge with close access to Fairbault to pick up supplies. I hope we get to come back and stay again. I love it here. Thank you for sharing your property Scott!

Really loved the view of the lake and the bird islands. Sunsets were spectacular. Enjoyed kayaking on the lake. Host was excellent, reached out every day to see how things are going. Great weekend getaway!
Had a fun girls’ weekend here! We didn’t get a chance to use the bikes or kayaks due to weather but still had fun staying inside the house! Great dinner at El Molino and breakfast/coffee at Cool Wave, both less than a 10 minute drive from the house.

Petfect spot! Great Cabin!
We rented this cabin for our anniversary. We loved it because it was an hr away from our home and south of the twin cities so no traffic hassles at all. I am not sure I would call it a cabin- it’s actually a two bedroom house. Everything really modern and high end. Will definitely rent it again!

Beautiful house with a gorgeous view
We were looking for a house not far from Shattuck St. Mary school where my daughter was staying for a figure skating camp. Scott’s house was perfect for my husband, son and myself. His house is beautifully maintained and the view of the lake is gorgeous. Scott’s communication with me was great, he always got back to me quickly with any questions I had and he checked in a few times to see how our stay was going. The Sakatah trail is very close and we walked on it every morning. We will definitely stay again when we are back to Minnesota.
