I loved this, it had a lot of ‘bates motel’ vibes which is an absolute complement. I wasn’t expecting much for how cheap we got the room, but it was honestly lovely. Free WiFi, access to tv and lots of channels, shower and a bath, additional pillows, storage space, etc. loved it! We will be back for sure! Very convenient if you don’t mind a walk into the centre too, and cctv on the car park is a big win for me too.

I didn’t feel safe here as a solo female guest travelling for work. The area wasn’t great, it didn’t feel secure. The facilities were worn but adequate and clean.

Bedroom was very dark and drab. Privacy impossible without closing the curtain because the net was such poor quality. Curtain barely covered the windows. No usb point. Dinner extremely limited choices. Not easy to find.

Loved the room, was everything you need for an overnight stay and only just 5 min away from dwcent pubs and clubs, out the way enough to not have any trouble but on an industrial estate so can be noisier than normal in the morning but didnt really bother us.. overall a decnet night stay for decent money

Went to Wakefield at short notice, with 2 very good friends instead of an overly expensive long weekend in Morecambe! Stopped 2 nights had an excellent time. Will be going back to Wakefield again.

Cracks in the sink and mirror were not nice, nor was the cleaner walking in to see me putting on my makeup at 11.15am, when we were told (I actually questioned it with the night porter, as it said online 11am) and it was written that check out is by 12pm... It's basic and clean, so that's all I cared about and needed for the night.

I was disappointed as a disabled person in a wheelchair that there was no ramp to access the reception area to book in. I had to ask 2 other residents to help lift my chair over the ridge to enable me to get into the building. Consequently I was unable to get to reception to ask questions or to get further sugar and milk. There was no bin in the bathroom to dispose of sanitary items. The room was very cold. The heating was not on. I had to go out to get a hot water bottle to warm my bed and myself up. Bed was comfortable and other facilities adequate.
