“We loved the location and felt very much at home in a comfortable home. Particularly liked the armchair in the window overlooking the reservoir. We were walking 7 “Ethels” in the Dark Peak and all were easily accessible from Martha’s Cottage so ideal for our purposes. Pie Night at the Pickled Pheasant was also a nice discovery!”

“This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views.”

“Great location on a working farm very friendly, nice and clean with a view of the hill sides , we stayed in Daisy cottage it was all on one level with a disabled access shower which was great , near by walks taking in the beauty of the peak district national park, local pubs for great food, we would definitely return .”

“We had a great experience while staying here. We had booked the two cottages for my mum's surprise birthday and I have a large family. This was a great place to do this as there was a pool which entertained us all and enough space that you weren't in each other's space. It had beautiful views and a hiking tail right on the doorstep for anyone interested in a lovely walk. It wasn't far to get to local shops/bars/pubs. I would stay here again”

“We spent a week at Law Brook Farm Cottage and we had a lovely stay. The views across Yorkshire from the main window are amazing. The cottage is very well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The shower is great. As the weather was not kind to us, we benefited from the log burner in the evenings and so felt cosy and warm. There are many things to do in the area and a lot of the main attractions are within an hour's drive of the property. Paul welcomed us when we arrived and checked in with……
