Ting was one our bartenders & server that we can remember. He was very friendly & always smiled with service. Mott was also another server & bartender. She was very personable & made us feel welcomed. Each day when we see them at the main floor bar & outside patio, we know we'll always have excellent service as soon as we look up for it. Overall the hotel was very nice & service was excellent. But they should've just removed the dirty carpets in the rooms & hallways. Food & breakfast buffet options were also great. Nothing is better than comfort Asian soups & dishes. Just be prepared to have transportation to go anywhere nearby. We tried to walk to the Night Market & the restaurants nearby along the Mekong River. It was like playing Frogger to cross safely as there really aren't any crosswalk signs that worked. Even more difficult when inebriated. Fortunately we had several local family & friends that were able to drive us around. The hotel also provides a ride to nearby at a cost of $20. We would stay there again if we returned to Laos.

My stay at Crown Plaza was very nice. Staff are freindly. The hotel has an exceptional exercise facility. Although there are some good restaurants at the hotel, there are none outside nearby.

Nice modern hotel. Chose this over others in the city as this for now seems to be the only international chain in Vientiane and I want to be assured of min standards although there are other hotels with more colonial vibes and charm. Staff speaks reasonably good English and are helpful. I didnt give them full marks because there was a service glitch - I asked for some toilet paper and tissue paper to be delivered to my room but it never arrived. Also, the onsite Spa opening hours are very limited from 11am to 8pm and last appointment is 7pm. Most spas will operate from 10am till around 10 pm so that guests can go there at night after a busy day of sightseeing. Food at Three Merchants restaurant was excellent at very good value, at Mosaic cafe is just so so. Location wise it is a bit outside the main central area with shops and restaurants but within walking distance. Overall a relatively pleasant stay if you are looking for a functional comfortable business hotel.

I liked the buffet breakfast. I liked the pool it was amazing. I liked the location just outside the range of the noisy Night Markets. You need to work more closely with the community that your hotel is located in to offer a more wholistic, local, eco-friendly experiences for the guests. Besides the location there was nothing that differentiates your hotel from most others. Also think about providing better filtered water facility to your guests so they do not have to resort to purchasing water & more plastic. You kindly provided water in the rooms but they were in plastic bottles. Please take a look at the footpaths and people around your hotel and help them improve with you. Plant more trees around your hotel. Provide option to recycle for your guests. Our room had a few issues: 1. TV channel were either really static-filled or TV just showed black screen for ages then suddenly started working. 2. The floor in front of our bar fridge had condensation on it for unknown reasons. 3. Our bathroom toilet roll holder disassembled itself and fell off 4. We were in our room when 2 people opened the door and just walked in. They turned out to be guests who had been allowed to check-in to our room as they had a keycard with our room number on it.
