This hotel was perfect for my 9 year old son and I. My son loved the gaming room. Great breakfast and transit was right across the street. I would recommend this hotel.

Modern and cosy hotel
Nice atmosphere, small but very well appointed rooms, very clean, modern, and very near the station. Carpark is across teh road, you get a discount with the hotel so pay there and use their ticket.

Quiet, comfortable place in Utrecht
Excellent location, comfortable, clean, and above all quiet - even after a week of staying there I was not disturbed by noise, my #1 concern when in a hotel. I specifically loved the lighting in the rooms. I would not hesitate to stay here again. I had the comparatively boring side for views, but I expect people on the canal side have a beautiful view to boot. There is basically no storage for clothing, be aware. There is also no phone to contact the main desk. Though they offer only body wash instead of bar soap, they do not provide a washcloth with which to use it. The bar and coffee service were convenient and unusual for me - American hotels are wildly overpriced and not appealing. Having espresso available right there was helpful more than once, and people reguarly hung out in the lobby in a way that I never see in the US, without question because it was an easy and inviting place to be. Service was mixed; some folks at desk were very friendly and helpful, others were pretty unhelpful/unkind for a traveller with questions rooted in intrinsically limited knowledge of cultural tropes. But that's to be expected anywhere. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Of my 15 day trip to 5 different countries and 6 different accommodations, this hotels stood out as the very best. The staff were absolutely amazing and so helpful. The hotel was in immaculate condition. The internet was fast and this hotel set a high bar for other accommodations.

Perfect laid back hotel
Perfect laid back hotel, clean, friendly and contemporary. All staff English speaking and area available to park our bicycles 🚲 reception area clean and quirky lots of interesting things for our 1 year old grandson 👦 The only downside, breakfasts very expensive 🤔

This hotel is very conveniently located. It is next to a canal that you can walk along to the city center. It is across the street from a train station. Despite its proximity to transportation and city life, the room was quiet. The hotel concierge gave us an incredible dinner recommendation for a fantastic Afghan restaurant, Sarban. The one thing of note is that the Hotels.com profile of the hotel indicates that parking is available. This is not quite accurate--there is street parking as well as parking in the train station, both of which are convenient and close but not connected to the hotel.

Great Stay!
Great hotel, funky and fun, the kids loved it! Lots of toys/games/remote control cars in reception. Great location, 5 mins walk to the edge of the centre. The breakfast was amazing! Hot and cold, doughnuts, all types of cereal, even a bloody Mary station! Would recommend for families. Staff also lovely.

Great Place To Stay
Really enjoyed stay at Roxy, Utrecht. The hotel is about 1KM outside the old town, but easily accessible by bus/train if you don't want to walk. Staff were friendly & breakfast was plentiful. It's also located on a canal & there are a number of canal-side restaurants/bars within 300M

I got a bit of mixed feeling about this stay: At some points it was great and at others there was room for improvement. Let me elaborate: 1) During check in there was not a single staff member that could speak Dutch. And the girl on check in was rather unfriendly. Not a huge issue as we speak many languages but I found it weird for a Hotel in the Netherlands. 2) There was a party in the area around the bar for the company itself but as a guest you felt excluded because u see many people partying having food and even a BBQ outside. Great party but the area that was left for the guests was encroached upon by the same people all working in Hospitality giving me and my wife (and other guests) a lot less space at the bar (we were lucky we got 2 seats at the bar before the party started) area as people just came to the guest area to eat their fill and talk and have fun (all great of course, but as a guest you are excluded which in my opinion could have been arranged better. 3) Highlight of our stay was a young man named Juan who actually in the midst of the party took the time to ensure we were ok and made several recommendations for restaurants and actually made sure we felt like guests. As a former Marriott Manager I was pretty disappointed by the overall stay but then pleasantly surprised by 1 single team member who made all the difference.

I loved this hotel. Our room for a small family was quite large, the bathroom was very big. The beds are very firm (not great if you don’t like that), but otherwise very comfortable with lots of plugs and USB for charging. We didn’t realize how close it was to the train station Vaartsche Rijn, so we accidentally took the train to Utrecht Centraal and had to go back, then discovered the hotel is across the street from that station.

Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Rooms are very nice and well sound-proofed (we were right next to the elevator and heard nothing), and the view was nice. The only drawback was that the bed wasn't very comfortable and the room was a bit hot so I did not sleep very well, unfortunately.

This is the second time I stayed here this year. The location of the property is excellent. Next to the canal and station. Close by are eating places, shopping and the old town of Utrecht. Staff on the reception are friendly. We had a larger room which was very good. We stayed 7 nights and the housekeeping was fragmented. One day our room did not get serviced at all, another day it was inadequate, bin not emptied & breakfast tray left, wet towels left. There were only two days where it was serviced properly. This was completely different to when I stayed there in April when the housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast was average, many things not avaiable by 8.30-9am. It seemed like the hotel didn't anticipate properly the amount of guests having breakfast. I like the location of this hotel & would stay again but there is need improvement.
