Extremely friendly & helpful staff
Stylish & comfortable. had dinner in The Rabbit, limited vegan options so server asked chef if he could make something else as they were quiet. A delicious linguine arrived. He didn't need to do that but it was greatly appreciated.

Stayed with 1 year old and dog. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. We used the pool and gym, and those were well maintained and nice to use. Food in both restaurants was delicious. Would recommend.

A Christmas treat
It was a Christmas treat! We were gifted the stay as a wedding gift from friends like all the guests we were treated so well throughout our stay , beautiful location and buildng, professional well trained staff and some of the best food i have tasted in a long time would espeically recomend the fish and chips, the garlic butter chicken curry and the marvellous rice pudding bruille . First rate from check in to check out cant recomend enough

One thing i do not like to see in a bathroom is grout and silicone being black.. The daily fee for my dog to stay was far too expensive. But besides this everything else you could not fault, it was great to get a upgrade at no extra cost, would definitely go back

Good, but it’s the small things…
We were welcomed by a very friendly doorman and receptionist. They are a credit to the hotel. I had booked the double room much earlier this year through a hotels.com and was surprised to find that only one person was booked in. Surely a double room would be for two people? Another factor being that I had added two people into the search criteria when booking. As usual, I was made to pay the extra for the second person. Not happy. In the bar, they add 10% to the food bill as a discretionary charge. This is a disgrace. Either pay your staff properly or put your prices up. This isn’t America! Terrible for a five star hotel. Our neighbours put the TV on this morning at 5:40 quite loudly. Not the hotels fault but just saying. You can get the idea of how we feel.

Enjoyed overall, beautiful hotel, staff were very professional and friendly. Great dog friendly option being able to eat meals in bar was no hardship as it’s a lovely area. Classic Seaview room with kingsize bed including cost of bringing dog was pricey given it is very tight for space. Bed was however very comfortable. Bathroom was my main issue. It is ridiculously tight and the height to step into shower over bath is quite perilous. Sadly would not stay again due to this.

Definitely worth a visit
Great hotel staff were all nice and welcoming and whatever you wanted they would try get it for you. We were here for a 2 day weekend stay for our 10 year anniversary and it was great the food was amazing couldnt fault it and service was quick and the morning breakfast was one of the best we have ever had we will definitely be back.

The room could have been cleaner. There were stains on the wall/carpet/bin. Glasses requested were not cleaned properly. No aircon in the rooms with the lower level rooms having views of bushes with staff walking by the window. The breakfast was very poor. Over cooked and inedible despite arriving early on in the service. Many other guests also felt the same leaving full plates of food. Clearly understaffed for instance offers of fresh eggs which never came. Overall very underwhelmed by our stay in the hotel which was an Anniversary gift so left feeling disappointed.
