"Hard to be critical as the Hotel is 'under new Management' as of November 2018 and understandably there will be some teething problems. The potential for the place is massive. A lovely building with a (potentially) very nice garden, river view, games room/lounge/bar area, and a location on the outskirts of the centre of town allowing easy access to the sights. However, some of the furnishings are a little dated and some of the facilities were not fully functional when we stayed mid-November. The...

"This was an absolutely horrendous experience. The receptionist was extremely rude to us when we arrived at the hotel (in the middle of nowhere) early evening, and refused to give us our room despite having already fully paid. The room itself was basic and unclean. We would never recommend this place to anyone."
