"We descended on Salado for the eclipse. This cabin was adorable. It's small (like an efficiency apartment) but had everything my two kids, husband, and I needed. The location is perfect. You're right on the creek and shopping, restaurants, and entertainment are within easy walking distance. The outdoor space is wonderful. We'd definitely recommend to others and would return ourselves."

There was plenty for us to do, between exploring the property, fishing in the pond, and relaxing on the porch. Communication before and during our stay was prompt and helpful. "We stayed here while in the process of buying a house in Gatesville. It was home away from home and was a lovely place to relax from the stresses of life. It was clean and had everything we could have needed and more during our stay. The lake is low but we were able to hike down and explore. The house was kid friendly and had lots of books, some board games and other things to keep the kids(and adults) entertained. The owner was so very kind and responded in a timely manner.
