"Villa Calipso was even more spectacular than shown in the photos. The building, the gardens and the pool were enjoyed by all in our group. Roberto,our host, was thoughtful and available, if needed. The location is perfect. Taromina is a short drive away and getting to Mt. Etna, Siracusa or Milazzo was no problem. Very highly recommended by all in our group."

"Yes the hotel is dated - but everything else over compensates ! The hotel is genuine beach side with a lovely beach area and pool area for guests. Tranquil garden setting that is so relaxing. "We were delighted to be offered an upgrade to their partner hotel next door at no extra charge. However on our return home we were shocked to find that as well as the cost of the stay we had also been charged an extra night as though we hadn’t shown up at the Hotel Elios. Staff on the desk have not been helpful when I called to point this out and asked us to email customer service, which I have done 3 times with no reply. I took the complaint to Expedia who said it was between us and the hotel....
