This is my third time staying in MGH Mitsui Garden since last summer. However, my check in experience this time was no good. I arrived at around 3:45 in the afternoon and requested for a higher floor superior room. The front desk girl just said no higher floor room was anvailable and after prolonged negotiation, she gave me a low floor corner room with a sticky smell. I then requested for a replacement. The answer was of course ‘No’. After complaining for quite some time, I requested to see the manager instead. Then suddenly, she was able to find me a higher floor room which was up to my expectation. But the whole check in took nearly an hour.

Excellent property for family with two kids. Subway is super close by with an elevator entrance (great for strollers). Japanese bath is relaxing so worth a try. Only thing I wish hotel improved on is water pressure in shower. Bidet made up for it however.

It's in a very convenient area/location, close to variety of bus stations. Staff are very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Room is clean and being tidied up every day, I love that the hotel cares and trying as much as they could to be eco friendly. I have had a very pleasant experience staying at MGH Taipei, and will definitely come back to stay here again.

Absolutely amazing service! Everything was pretty new here and every details were well taken care of. The Toto toilet was the latest model. Amazing public bath house with a view on the top floor.
