"Don't be put off by the name (a "lodge" has a certain meaning to me) - if you're looking for an excellent hotel near Norwest, The Hills Lodge is it. The rates were better than competitive, and the room was spacious and well fitted out. I had a small balcony overlooking a pool, and I always enjoy having an open area when staying away from home, so this was a big plus for me. "Incredible location for a Sydney first-timer. The facilities are dated, as are the rooms, but the staff are excellent and maintain the high standards you’d expect of the brand & for the price range. Shout out to Sophia/Sofie at reception who rectified any issues in a really considerate, timely manner. "

"VIEW Hotel needs to go back to the individual toiletries in the rooms. The pump bottles on the wall are awful and too much like a backpacker hostel. Only a small thing, but it matters"

"The hotel is in a great location. The rooms were really nice. The staff was great. There was construction in the lobby that was affecting being able to enjoy the lobby. I was charged for a full breakfast when the breakfast was not being offered to its fullest capacity due to construction. It made me feel like customer service was lacking and I never sought breakfast at the hotel again. Other than the construction issues and mediocre service during that time the hotel is lovely. "
