"A group of five women rented this property for a long weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pirates Cove. The house was clean and the amenities were plentiful. You didn’t need to worry if you forgot something because it was provided by the host (who was always prompt in responding to our questions). Our location was perfect because it was only a short walk to the beach. We did take a beach wagon which helped tremendously. I would not hesitate to rent this house again."

Each of the charming 14 rooms comes with its own storage unit where we were able to stow our bicycles and beach chairs. We loved sitting on the screened in porch overlooking tent marsh and watching the birds. It was a wonderful experience. "

"The condo is very neat and owner is very responsive. The thing that impressed me were clocks!, Most rentals have no bedroom clocks and this one did. Also the TV had so many channels. It was great. However, a few blankets are needed as we encountered some cool nights. Also there were no brochures or other items, like puzzles. Overall it is a really nice unit."

"Nice little room close to the beach. Room was clean and comfortable. No washer or dryer in room. May have been located somewhere else on property. Didn't like having one side of the bed against the wall, but overall enjoyed our stay and would use again."

"Accommodations were clean and we were very comfortable. It was our little dog's first visit to the beach and it was a wonderful experience for him. Our only problem and it is just because of being at the senior age status in our lives is that the steps got to be a challenge for both of us and I'm a runner! lol! I was able to walk to the beach but in order to take our beach things, we needed to drive. The walk time to the beach was 5 to 10 minutes. Sunset Beach is absolutely breathtaking and my runs at sunrise were incredible. Restaurants were close by and were a highlight. Robert was a wonderful host!"

"It was my spouse and I with two kids (10, 8yrs old) The place was perfect!! The kids enjoyed running around, playing with the chickens and feeding them. There is a trampoline and lake that kept them busy as well. It was very quiet. We got really fresh free range eggs delivered to our door for breakfast. The owner is responsive and extremely kind. I would definitely stay there again and have already recommended the place!!"
