Hotel Review
The clerk at the front desk, Carlos, was great. Friendly, courteous, helpful and customer service oriented. The room was clean and impressive. I would highly recommend staying here.

Would recommend
Had no issues except we checked in at 3PM and went straight to the pool and there were no towels in the pool area. Had to use towels from the room and it was hard to find staff to get them replaced when we were ready to take a shower. Other than that, the hotel was very nice and clean and great location. Had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Uh...no, just no.
The staff was helpful but there is only so much they can do. Pool was closed and judging by the sign on the door it wasn't just this week. Coolers for purchasing beverages was completely empty. Morning breakfast was absolutely pathetic. Nothing in the oatmeal crock pot, and never was, only those yellow round fake egg things and a never used and empty sausage container. The only fruit available was super small delicious apples, one kind of cold cereal etc. Our tv didn't work and went to call front desk and the phone didn't work, so went to the front desk for help. David came up and tried it and then went to get a new remote and that one didn't work either. Phones were out for the whole building although surrounding areas all had phones. He offered us a new room but after a 10 hours driving and our stuff already unpacked, we declined. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Horrible beeping sound coming from laundry room
I stayed in room 108 right next to the laundry room. Throughout the night there was a beeping coming from the laundry room every 15 seconds and we could not get it to shut off. I slept not a wink. Hotel staff Crystal was amazing but will not stay at a hotel that does not take in consideration for annoyances like this that can be extinguished.

Charge twice for the room, paid to expedia, then at the hotel ask for credit card to hold deposit and take me out from the card another notgh. Pool doesn't work and no notify before purshase night, cery poorr breakfast

Went into assigned room to look it over and in the refrigerator was leftover rotting food. They had to clean another room for us to stay in. That room was not exceptionally clean but at the end of a long day we chose to stay! The two women at the desk were friendly and helpful!

Wa first give a key to another persons room, walked in on them… then when went back down they tried to charge my card like 5 more times rafter I had already pains for my room in full & then they gave someone else our room key and they walked in on us…..

I apologize that your room was not ready on time for check in, we are working with housekeeping on time management. As for the soap, if you are referring to the bars of soap, we are no longer putting those in the room. If we have them, we will use what we have till it is gone. Again, I apologize that you were not satisfied with your stay.

Disappointed
Room was not up to the Fairfield Inn standards. Numerous pillows literally looked like they had been used to mop the floors they had so much dirt and grime on them. Luckily my two kids brought pillows with them so we had enough for our stay. Food was leftover from the previous persons' stay in the refrigerator. Bedding had hair in it. A flossing pick was lying on the floor near one of the beds. Only had 2 towels in the bathroom for a 4 person reservation. Called to get extra towels, received them right away, but then room service cleaned the room the next day and only left us 2 towels again. Searched high and low for a mid-tier hotel in the Lake Charles area and feel I got ripped off. Can't imagine what the $120 a night hotels looked like if this is what $250 a night got me. Very disappointed.

There was a shortage of face towels I could see mold and mildew inside The clear knob on bathtub .. just looked dirty Bed was not as comfortable as other Fairfield’s I’ve stayed at Front desk was friendly and accommodating The mobile key site was not working

Property is difficult to get to due to location. Staff is inconsistent from rude/ unprofessional to very good. When I was checking out I asked for a paper receipt she said she couldn't do it if I need it I need to wait for the regular person to come back.

I assume that due to the Covid they didn't have the breakfast. Not sure why they couldn't't offer fruit of wrapped muffins. They did offer food from the pantry for sale. Not sure that this makes any since other than to add to the bottom line for Fairfield.
