Property was in a nice location. I would say the evening person at the front desk was very annoying. He complained about my kids clapping coming off the elevator called me twice with the same complaint. He tried to make it seem as if they was jumping on the elevator funny thing is 2 happen to be young adults and the other is 14. I guess he’s just a crab.

The property was newer and the lobby was clean. Our suite was lovely- especially the floor to ceiling sliding doors that offer a lovely view and sunlight! Plenty of chairs, umbrellas and kid toys to bring to the beach, was also a pleasant surprise.

This is my 2nd time at The Avalon, it has not disappointed. We rented the 3 bedroom grand suite. It’s an amazing suite with an ocean front view. The staff is amazing. We will be back again!!!!

I did not care for the check in comments made to us. They asked if we were hiding a pet in two small carry on bags we were traveling with. It seems accusatory versus simply asking us if we were traveling with a pet.

This small, quite, friendly and clean boutique hotel is an amazing gem located on the north side of Clearwater Beach. You will find warm and welcoming staff, easy parking, a convenient location and access to plenty of new and comfy Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach umbrellas and boggie boards. We loved the large and roomy suites at Avalon and were even able to get into our 3 bedroom gulf front suite early by 12 noon, a wonderful suprise. Plus we were able to obtain an extra parking pass for our party. The beach is steps away and lovely, no where near as crowded as you will find at the larger resorts on the south end. We have stayed at nearly all the larger resorts on the beach and have now found our favorite location at The Avalon Club. We will be repeat patrons for years to come!!
