"This property is as described and shown in photos. It is small, we had awesome sleep as the bed is comfortable. It is accurately described and depicted in photos and is what we expected. Outside mosquitoes are prevalent but there is screen in porch. It was quiet and we slept well for our 1 night stay."

Location was close to the Mackinaw Island ferry dock, the lake was great for this kids to play in and the fire pit made the evenings great. Host was great and responsive, the check in/out was easy. Would definitely recommend."

"The cabins were cute, cozy, and a perfect quick getaway. The view of the lake was beautiful, would be a great summer spot to enjoy the water. The bed was not super comfy, but for the price it was perfect. We brought our dog and he enjoyed the cabin too! We would return."

"Very rustic. Fun place to stay. Wish the bathroom was updated, but everything worked and was fine. Great location to use as a base to visit UP locations and the Island. Beautiful sunrises over the lake. Highly recommend if you like rustic places with great character!! We would love to stay there again!!"

"Just Kevin was perfect for us, only drawback was a very small bathroom. The location couldn't have been better, only 5 miles to Mackinaw City and the ferry to Mackinac Island,and very close to Cheboygan too. View of the lake was beautiful and we spent a lot of time sitting on the swing down by the water. House was very friendly and accommodating and a wealth of information and things to seem to in the area. Would definitely stay again but would out for one of the other rooms with a bigger...

"The cabins are pretty close together, and the water is only about 5 feet away when exiting out of cabin 6s back porch. Cabin 6s bathroom is pretty small, and hard to walk through. The whole bathroom is cramped including the toilet area. The walk in shower is really out of place and the only light in the bathroom is right above the shower stall. The steam from my shower made the light flicker, which I got a little freaked out by it. The cabin overall could use a lot small repairs and updates....

"We had a wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend and this was a perfect location to stay. Enjoyed the peddle boat and outdoor picnic tables. Beautiful sunrise in the morning. Close enough to hit the waterfalls too. Very friendly owners and great local pizza at Trout Lake tavern."
