The Royalton Grenada is a beautiful property conveniently located minutes away from the airport. Staffs are very friendly and work very hard to attend to your needed and wants. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice vacation.

The pictures on the website of Expedia website do not match what you get. I was disappointed with the room. I paid extra for an ocean view, it was a joke, there was barely any ocean view. The food was good, housekeeping great. You spend most of your time in your room. I have been staying at this resort since 2000, so I know what I paid for and did not receive.

The majority of the staff were not very professional. They were talking loudly to each other and not really engaging with guests. They exchanged plastic responses with no real, authentic interactions.

This resort was small and beautiful. Everything was close by but there are A LOT of stairs depending on the building you are in. The stairs were worth the 3rd floor view from building 13. The beach was incredible. Bring your snorkeling gear because there are so many fish to see! The staff was so nice and accommodating. Room service was insanely fast. The room was cleaned to perfection everyday. We went for my birthday and they did nothing special to decorate my room or help acknowledge the day despite asking the reason for our visit. The night entertainment wasn’t great and ended at 10 pm sharp. There was nothing else to do on the resort after that. It was a let down especially if you want to dress nicely in the evening and enjoy some kind of nightlife. The island is small so nightlife off the resort is possible starting Wed/Thurs night. You just have to figure that out on your own. They also don’t enforce any kind of dress code in the evening so you’ll see some people very casual with flip flops and others in resort/evening attire. The food was mostly good but some of the food like burgers and jerk wings were seasoned with curry. We found that very to be very strange. There aren’t many restaurant options which we understand because it is a small resort but the selection at the non buffets were also small. The drinks weren’t great. The alcohol was overpowering in mixed drinks and they didn’t have enough of the actual flavor (like the daiquiris).

We were delayed. We got in at 430p. check in was 3p. Several rooms were not ready. We were told due to late check outs. We took our carry-on luggage to the one dinning area that we found open as no one directed us otherwise. Overall experience: males were accommodating. the females were not. A young lady literally harassing me about choosing not to sit in the sun. Back to the counter as i would not allow them to run my card a third time. my Bank of America app showed I paid as well as a text from the bank. The agreement was for me to check back the next day. The next day i was told the hotel policy is to pay upon the initiation of my stay. I did pay according to the bank. i called the bank. On speaker the bank stated my card had been charged by the hotel. Supposedly the accounting dept disagreed. They ran my card again. I incurred another charge. Got to the room and was asked to bring the card back to void the charge to ensure that i would not be charged twice. That was the solution i proposed before. Customer service is horrible. the staff is no professional. The staff needs a course in customer service… the males were all professional for the most part and the dining staff… my favorite person ’hands down’ was Celine… her bright smile and friendliness from a person soo young is commendable and should be recognized and she needs to be at the desk for our initial encounter. The locals don’t even recommend this place. The also tried to charge us another $275 b/4 leaving.

I really loved the service offered by Royalton . The staff exceeded my expectations . They were very accommodating and friendly . Special thanks to Quinton, Andrew, Petra and Kimoni . The Royalton property was lovely and the pool and beach was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and wonderful. The food was ok but if you can’t do steps this is not the place for you, although there were trams to escort people as needed. I would highly recommend and would return.

What was unique about the property was the fact that all the staff was very, very pleasant and accommodating. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary during our stay and appreciated the efforts made by Jackie, Guest Services Manager, the F&B Manager along with the Chef at Grazzie Restaurant to make it a special and memorable evening for us. We just can’t forget Lisa whose smile and genuine personality will be forever etched in our minds for she went above and beyond to secure the peanut butter for our nutmeg and peanut butter shake. Also, special mention of Simon our bellman, Kinnesha and Tracey at the Front Desk along with the lovely service crew (hostesses, wait staff & bus boys) in Gourmet Marche the buffet restaurant. We also can’t forget Ronnie the server from the Lobby Bar who made a special effort to refill your beverage and tidy the area along the way and Naomi, hostess for Taj & Ma Maison restaurant. We say thank you to everyone for making our experience a memorable one.

I enjoyed my stay here but the only reason I rated overall rating a 4 is because one evening the fire alarm in our area went off for over a minute.we exited our room and only one other couple made their way down as we thought something must obviously wrong if the fire alarm is going off. No security or other staff member came to check and inform guests that the area was safe to renter. Guests just stayed in their room. I was unbelievably angry and concerned at the clear lack of emergency response protocols. I spoke with the head of security that evening and he was sweet and apologized but I also told him that the hotel needs to do better in this area and let guests know what’s happening even if there was no fire, an alarm went off for a long time. What if something was really wrong? Otherwise stay was great. Staff was lovely. Enjoyed the restaurants and the beach.

We booked a luxury sea view room, for 3 adults, we got a king bed, it took 90 minutes to change our room, then there was no toiletries, no soap.. The food at the Italian restaurant was good, the main buffet was ordinary. Staff at the restaurants were good, especially at the Italian restaurant.

Unfortunately, we didn't fully enjoy our stay at the Royalton. I don't think the Diamond Club upgrade was worth the expense and it was far from "luxury." While it was a beautiful view and we loved being so close to the beach, we were very disappointed with the Diamond Club "amenities" including the butler service. There seemed to be constant miscommunications and requests were only accommodated half of the time. It was almost as if our requests (turn down service, bucket of ice, late check out, etc.) were an inconvenience. There also was very much to be desired when it came to room service (long wait for food that looked nothing like photos); check-in/check-out (some staff were not warm/friendly/helpful and check-in took much longer than it should have); and understanding what made the Diamond Club any different from the other parts of the resort especially when it seemed much more crowded/overbooked. However, we did love the spa services and there were a few staff members, like Shaquille and Jay, that were extremely nice and made sure we made the most of our stay. While we would definitely come back to Grenada--I doubt we will be coming back to this property.

Excellent food, Restaurant Manager Yuvi onsite helping out. Lots of local options. Bae service Excellent. The staff at royalton works really hard. I would rate this hotel 5 stars. Stuff they can improve on. Have reliable shuttle service between rooms. The hills and steps are challenging and can be a deterrent to hotel All in all Excellent service

The grounds were great and the staff, wonderful. The food was not very good, nor were there many options to choose from, especially as a vegetarian. My friend got food poisoning, and she never one to get sick.

Its location near the airport. The staff was coureous and accomadating as we had arrived early at 8.30am and our room would not be ready before 3 pm. The front desk then made a rush call for room to be ready and by 1.15 pm we got our room. I did not like the fact that there is no elevator in the buildings and as such we had to walk up and down stairs to get to our room which was on 3rd. Floor. This is an issue with many guests who are older.
