Great location
We really enjoyed our trip here. The beds were wonderful and the location was the best we've ever had to North Beach. The inside was not the best, but we did not spend alot of time here so it wasnt a big issue for us. We had 8 adults and we all fit great. Communication was excellent, and my husband even left something there that he needed for work and they were right on top of going and checking to see if they could find it and then mailing to us all within the day after we left.

Overall, this property was a good stay to visit Bear Lake. There are a few points that bothered me. The biggest thing is that the cleanliness was subpar. There was a lot of dirt and dead bugs in all of the window tracks, long hairs around the inside (such as in the silverware drawer), and the bathtubs (specifically the master) were pretty grimy with a lot of buildup. The kitchen was clean, the floors were pretty gritty. The carpet was not vacuumed thoroughly. The biggest issue (which we were compensated for but should still be noted for improvement) was when us and our baby and toddler were locked out because the internet was down. My husband sat on the phone with them for about 30 minutes resetting electrical boxes to try and get the internet to reboot because the Wi-Fi was tied in directly with the lockbox. An obvious solution would be to have an emergency key somewhere on the property so that if there was a danger or inclement weather, tenants could still access the house, regardless of Wi-Fi connectivity status. Overall, it was better than camping but the owners should probably hire a better cleaning crew, and please come up with a better emergency solution when a guest is locked out.

You get what you pay for...
This older property was spacious enough for our large group. The outside is not amazing and looks worse than the pictures. The front rail is loose, the steps are not all secure, needs painted. The grill has a box of wet pellets underneath it. The grass is patchy and weedy. The lake view is actually across the busy highway in the distance. This is a downstairs unit & our neighbors were very loud upstairs until around 1 am every night. The walls are thin & the main living area echos really bad. You can hear the water from upstairs trickling through the walls in the back 2 bedrooms & bathroom. There is plenty of space, it is very well stocked with essentials and it was fairly clean. The master bath shower doors are filthy at the bottom & the kitchen sink is stained. It is not a beauty to look at, but it is functional and roomy. It is located just a short drive from lake. This was our first trip to Bear Lake & we had a ton of fun at the lake! We will be coming back to Bear Lake, but we will not be booking here again.

Great Bear Lake Stay!
Our family was thrilled with the space and the convenience of this condo! It was nice, well stocked, and the AC worked great which we loved! The older outside is deceiving for the cute, modern inside. Will definitely stay here again! No complaints here!

Great Location for North Beach
It's a great place for the price. Very close to North Beach. Clean, and roomy for our family. It had great parking for our boat trailer and cars. Our only issue was the main bathroom light had a short and flickered on and off, and they didn't get it fixed. We had to use our phone flashlights to use that bathroom.

Five Star Review (Not a 5-star Hotel)
This place was exactly as described and what we were hoping for! After reading other, more critical reviews, I figured I’d set the record straight with our experience: First, the number of rooms and the space provided was great for the price! This is what stood out to us. Many of the properties in the area said they were one price per night, but tacked on such exuberant fees, it almost doubled the cost per night. This property was fair and transparent with the price, and it was a great price for the size. Because, for us, price was more important than luxury, we weren’t expecting a 5-star hotel. Second, the pictures perfectly represented the quality of the house. There was no bad surprises when we arrived—it was exactly what we were hoping for. For me, this is extremely important. It was clean and ready for our stay. Third: I hadn’t seen the check-in instructions, so I called the number provided. He was very friendly and told me to check my email, sure enough, it was there. I also had a random questions about sprinklers, because I was doing astrophotography while I was there (St. Charles has really dark skies), and I got a quick text response. Summary: The place was a great deal, it was clean with no surprises and exactly as described, and management was quick to respond to any questions I had.

Relaxing open home.
Initially the description was misleading about being feet from the beach but that was corrected after advising our contact. A comfortable and relaxing home with the fire pits to enjoy outdoors evening beauty. Close to north beach which was beautiful, not many trees but close and kids loved it. Not far from Garden city to enjoy the amazing shakes, etc.

The one thing I was very impressed by was the attentiveness of the owner. When we arrived the door would not lock and she quickly sent someone out to fix the keypad. Overall the place was nice, but not the cleanest. If you walked around without shoes, your socks or feet would be black from the floors. When we arrived there were two huge spiders and one earwig in the bathtub. We had to constantly kill the bugs during our stay. There was one room that had a separate outside entrance. That outside entrance allowed a lot of little beetle like bugs to enter that room. By the door there were probably 10-15 dead bugs on the ground and I found a few crawling in the bed. They were harmless however. The kitchen was nice, and we found everything that we needed to make our meals. The lights in the back room did not work so no one stayed in that room. I still enjoyed my trip but probably wouldn't stay there again due to the amount of bugs. It just seemed as though no one had stayed/cleaned in there for a bit.

Long-Weekend Get-away
The property was clean and fully equipped when our party of 8 adults and three toddlers arrived. Comfortable seating at a large dining table, with a living room adjoining provided comfortable seating of all of us. The bedrooms were clean and the linens ready for our visit. While we did experience a little trouble with some of the plumbing issues, it was minor and did not deter from our enjoyment of the property. The proximity to the north beach area of Bear Lake was convenient and easy. We were on the main floor and experienced a little noise from the upstairs visitors, but again, it was not disruptive to our stay. We may have wished for more trash bins--the three that are available didn't necessarily accommodate all of the people who were staying during this heavy late-July occupancy. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and felt that the property was well worth what we paid to stay there. Jackie, the owner, was responsive to our needs and while accessible to us as needs arose, we didn't feel like we were being "watched" as we enjoyed the property.

Somethings in real life are not what they seem to be in pictures..
Day 2.....got a knock at the door...it was a city worker delivering a water shut off notice that was scheduled for the next day and it pretty much went down hill from there. I won't mention every disappointing situation we had, but to name a few, the yard wasn't mowed...I had to pull weeds out of the fire pit before we used it....the outside bbq wasn't useable....the lights in the back bedroom didn't work...the dishwasher wasnt secure when you opened the door it would pull the whole thing forward..... literally too much nonsense to even talk about. I have rented from Vacation Rentals several times in the last 2 1/2 years and have never had a negative experience until now and have never written a negative review until now.

Great place to stay near Bear Lake
Our family rented this whole condo unit for our reunion. It was a great place to stay! The bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate for the 30 people who came. The kitchen on the main floor was wonderful for cooking and eating family dinners. Every night we enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit in the back. Parking space was good. Only a few miles from the North Shore Beach. We enjoyed the property so much that we will probably use it another time.

Good place for a larger family
Condo is large and spacious and worked well for our family. There was plenty of seating at the table and couches. Kitchen is spacious too with the necessities for cooking. There is no AC but when we went in July it was plenty cool during the day with basement cooling. There is good parking available and it is close to the North shore in Idaho. You do have to back a trailer in off the busy road. The owner is very responsive with questions I had and great to work with during booking.

Great for a Large Group
We stayed at North Beach Condos and really enjoyed it. The kitchen was perfect for cooking large meals and the bedrooms were just what we needed for a large group of runners running 3 half marathons in 3 days. The owner made sure everything was orderly and we were taken care of. A few quirks to the house, but mainly entertaining to the engineers in the group.

We had a very nice time staying here. The beds were comfortable and everything was clearly marked in the kitchen so we didn't have to search for things. We had a need to get a hold of the owner and she responded very quickly.

Such a beautiful home and view of Bear Lake from the front porch!!
Very comfortable beds and bedding! Very nice kitchen and had all we needed as well as table settings and great dishwasher. Need to bring a electric griddle if you want to make pancakes- but very nice size fry pans there! Great fire pit, bench, rocking chair on the front porch and chairs to sit around the fire.
