The location and parking facility is very convenient. Forget your car there and just walk around 10 minutes to the historic area. Unfortunately the hotel doesn’t have restaurant or any food available, so you need to look for another place for breakfast and meals. But the receptionist gave us many tips about restaurants and places to visit according to our needs.

Very basic property, clean. 10 min walk to St Augustine old town. Great location. Lady on the desk was very friendly and helpful explaining where things were.

A basic, very clean partially remodeled hotel right in the middle of the action on the main drag in St Augustine. Could walk to old town St Augustine easily.

Very close to the downtown area of St Augustine. Staff is kind. The inside of the rooms is nice and clean. Parking on site is easy. Walking everywhere else is 20 minutes or less.

Clean,large updated rooms. Wonderful outdoor patio .Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent location in the Historic district. Fantastic food options close by. Felt very safe.We had a wonderful time and will stay here again next time we are in St.Augustine.

The only thing we had trouble with was the new smart TV, which we were not smart enough to figure out, but management responded promptly, pleasantly and fixed the problem (a loose connection). We loved having nice flooring (not carpet - much cleaner), soap dispensers in the shower and next to the sink and a convenient shelf on each side of the bed for phones, drinks, etc. and only 200 feet from our favorite St. Augustine restaurant.

Good stay
Great location to the historical district. The bed and pillows were comfy. Hot water in the shower. The walls are thin and you will hear conversations outside. You will also hear traffic. I would definitely stay here again.

This is an older hotel, but staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean and spacious. Hotel within walking distance to attractions in St. Augustine. Would stay here again.

It was perfect. 👍 All the amenities we needed, clean, spacious,staff, very friendly. Only thing I would recommend would be soundproofing as we could hear showers coming on peoples televisions, etc..

The place wasn't bad. The room was clean. Had alot of space. Could use a couch or a bigger chair. Only real issue we had was the people yelling outside the room door. Not sure why, but kept us up til early morning. Other then that, perfect location to park and walk around.

Maybe not luxurious but clean.
Everything you need and little that you do. The bed was big and firm, the table and chairs were utilitarian, but there was hot water, a flat screen TV, and an AC/heater that was more than adequate. Very clean. Oh, can't forget the free on-site parking. As I was there to see family and a little of the sights, it suited my needs quite well. Very close to the Old Town so I could toast the newly weds and not worry about driving.

Great value and location
Great value for a great location. Walking distance from all the major attractions. We've been here before and we will be coming back on our next visit to St. Augustine. Pleasantly surprised!
Would never have booked an Econolodge, but traveling companion was keen on inexpensive option. VERY pleasantly surprised! Great location, just a few minute walk to the Fort and historic downtown. Courteous service. Rooms were neat, very comfortable beds, new flooring. Refrig, microwave. A little noisy, but a set of earplugs provided a great night's sleep! Give it a try!

Nice, cute little motel. Seemed to be a remodeled room, had laminate floors. Most important it felt clean. We got there 2ish and she let us check in early. Easy check in and check out. Close to old town, we jist walked over, and along the harbourway. Very clean, close and convienent. Would stay again.

Location was great. Unfortunately a few of the restaurants close by were closed the 2 days we were there. We checked out a day early because on the 1st night a couple was having a domestic disagreement in front of my son's room into the wee hours of the morning. The second day a handyman was installing a new air conditioner just above our rooms which was quite noisy. Staff was very helpful and friendly though. Unfortunately, to no fault of the owners, the weather was very rainy so this added to our decision to head home a day early.

Great hotel without breaking the bank
Inexpensive hotel within walking distance to everything. It is situated across street from Lady of La Leche church/The giant cross. Right next door is a pizza place that was great for evening munchies. The Castillo was about a 20 minute walk with a 5 year old and pushing a stroller. Our room was surprisingly really clean, bathroom was clean and in good condition, the beds and pillows were comfortable, in good shape, and the linens were white and clean. Would definitely stay again.
