The owners and staff here were fantastic. We had a turkey hit our windshield and smashed it completely. This was on Mothers Day do no place was open to fix our vehicle. We were out of state. We stayed here. They offered a later checkout, allowed us to stay in the lobby and allowed us access to a covered area to get the windshield replaced on their property. Could not have asked for more. Thank you for your hospitality.

The best thing about this hotel was the woman working the front desk, when we got into our room, there was hair and dirt all over the floors. The blanket was covered in some kind of animal hair and then once we pulled back the blanket the sheets were covered in human hair. It was like the bed had been made with the same dirty bedding from the previous people before us. The chair in the room had dirt and some kind of staining covering it, so much so that we didn’t even want to put our baggage on it. We called the front desk to ask for new sheets, which she brought us right away. You could see the difference in the fresh sheets she brought us and the ones that were on the bed. The towels provided were dirty, we didn’t even want to use them to wash up with. There was some work being done on the floors, which is understandable, but there was dirt debris covering the hallways and stairs. If it hadn’t been Derby weekend, we would have found somewhere else to stay. The staff here is wonderful, but the rooms and hotel itself is not worth the price or the no refund status of the hotel.

The owners/managers were very friendly and helpful however the facility is tired. They are updating as they can but it’s an old building. The furnishings are on lower end and again tired. Everything was very clean and and did the job. Probably would not go back.

The room was dirty. The floor was not clean, haven't even been swept. The hand towel in bathroom was dirty. No wash cloths were provided. The shower at the drain had pink/mold. I know this is a two star hotel but I still expect a clean room.

Staff at check in were very nice. Everyone was very friendly. I think the hotel is about to undergo some renovations so the room wasn’t esthetically pleasing, but the bed was very comfortable & met our needs. We were only there for one night, so it was tolerable.

Overall Good
Clean older hotel. Staff was nice. Free breakfast was only coffee yogurt and dry cereal. You will need to plan that meal elsewhere. Overall good condition. As a female staying with kids i felt safe in hotel but there needs more lighting in parking lot.

If it werent for the friendly staff, i wouldve given a lower rating. The accomodations look nothing like they do on the website. The first room they gave me smelled of mildew and the curtains and beds were damp. The next room they gave me had so much dust in the carpet and furniture, you could see it. The outside pool looked as if it were from a horror film. I dont know what was going on but had anyplace else had available rooms, i wouldve left.

They say it’s under construction, but I didn’t see any work being done while I was there. Dirty is an understatement. It smelt terrible. The air quality is so bad I developed a sore throat and had to check out early. It’s like the only motel in town and it was cheap, but I urge you to rethink booking a room here.

I did not enjoy my stay at this establishment at all. In a word the place was depressing. There obviously hasn't been anyl upkeep or maintenance done in this hotel for years. I will never stay here again.

The property is older and some areas need repair. However, it is clean and staff is friendly. There is an above average continental breakfast. The only issue I had at all was with Travelocity charge nearly $69 in fees above the hotel’s charge. I was unaware of these charges until after I had checked in. For this reason, no matter where I go, I will NOT book with Travelocity.

We registered, walked into the room, and left right away. The place is so disgusting we could not stay there. We found another hotel for the night. I expect a full refund from Expedia, this place should not even be featured on your site.
