"Really loved the hotel and great views of the lake. No room service which was a big negative. And no snacks to purchase other than a few items in a vending machine. Merkat Bar closed at 10 which was rather early. "

My only big complaint: our door keys keep losing their "charge" or something... sometimes we have to go back down the elevator to the front desk and get new keys, which is a little annoying, especially if our hands were full of luggage. "Friendly staff, easy access to DoorDash food. Easy to find where we were going for a convention. Good accommodations for baggage storage while at convention. Nice valet and made things so much easier with parking with valet."

"Great staff. David was 4stars and nothing less that superb. Friendly knowledgeable efficient. Always available. On the downside the shower was terrible. 3 weak steams of water out of the head left me wanting more. Also I was hot at night. No AC in April, I get it, but I sweltered. "

"I have stayed there several times now since my daughter is going to college nearby. It's an excellent property. Great service wonderful bistro with good food and very walkable for so much in the Grant Park south loop area. Also can walk to the aquarium and planetarium in 10 or 15 minutes Also ask for a room on Michigan Avenue for the best view but get a higher floor where it's much quieter so you don't hear as much traffic. "
