The Lodge provided a nice place to sleep and shower after hiking all day. I did not use the Lodge’s breakfast or any other food or drink services. The location was great for accessing the Red River Gorge and was an awesome hike in - hike out site for the trails at the Natural Bridge. Commutation wise, it’s pretty much on you. The front counter personnel could be a little more friendly and personable, it is the hospitality industry. I give the total stay 4 stars. I would definitely stay there again. The only complaint I have isn’t directed towards the Lodge, but to some if the inconsiderate guests. The people next door to me stomped around, talked, loudly, and slammed every door that they opened. Hikers like to get up and out early, but not everyone does. People need to try to be quiet when getting up and out early. This includes talking when walking along the balcony or sidewalk to the parking lot. No need to be loud. I was in Phoenix m, AZ a month ago and the same inconsideration was occurring in the hotel u was staying in. Please be considerate of others when staying in hotels, lodges, etc.
