They try to charge a extra clenless but when i call , them they recognize it was other room, not a good email , and make us to worried for a couple of hours, that we doesn´t deserve. They didn´t do anythin g to refund for the bad time

The balcony door was stuck and did not open during the whole stay so we were not able to sit out and see the sunrise, but otherwise no complaints.

fantastic unit with fabulous views of Apollo Bay
Absolutely beautiful accommodation. Wood fire was amazing with plenty of firewood available. View as superb as the photos. Bed was very comfy with lovely quality linen. Well equipped kitchen with full size fridge and oven. Would definitely come back.

Overpriced and very ourdated with terrible beds!
No reception staff or anybstaff to be seen. An enveloope on the reception door with a code for the room. The place has become very dated and in much needed attention, particularly to interior painting, furniture and even kitchen plates/utensils etc. No A/C in the bedroom or TV. Clean all your own plates and cups, take out your rubbish bin and clean everything down or pay the ridiculous cleaning fee! By far the worrst part about this place is the the small sized and extremely uncomfortable bed. Very hard and two nights of poor sleep for both of us. Overpriced and underwhelming.

We booked the Sheoak Cabin for a mid winter stay. Absolutely beautiful views with visits from the local native birds every morning. Everything you’d need for a weekend stay, good sized shower and bathroom. Washing machine was a bit small and had no instructions. Very peaceful and plenty of privacy. Owners were very nice on check in which was contactless. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in Victoria!

View from room was amazing! However the fan on wood fire and the split system was somewhat broken so heating the apartment took a very long time and we have little kids (middle of winter stay).

Fantastic views, very comfortable with very helpful caretaker however i asked for electric blankets (freezing winter July 2022) but was not allowed, wifi very difficult to obtain

Hi, please note that we do hot have electirc blankets due to the fact that we recently had a fire on the property caused by one. Unfortunately there is no wifi either available, but Telstra and Optus offer acceptable (unfortunately it is not always the best) service in the area. Kind Regards

Thank you for staying with us. We're sorry that reception being closed was an issue for you. Apart from the obvious reason to having contactless check in (to keep our staff safe one of whom is immune compromised and lives in the house that reception is connected to) due to Covid still being rife in the community (we just had a group of 3 people check out early as they all had Covid), please note that as we have digital locks and we do not have a reception that is open. There is someone always available if you have any issues during your stay. We cannot afford to have our reception open and potentially expose our staff to any virus (Covid or not) as unfortunately that would mean that we might have to close down the property until everyone is well as these days every business is struggling to find staff. We hope that you can understand now why we do not have our reception "open" to the general public ( and will continue to do so), but that does not mean that there is no one there to help our guests. Within 5 minutes of arriving my wife was crying. We haven’t been able to go away this year and when booking we were looking for a clear ocean view with a comfortable room. Upon arriving we were checked in via an envelope hanging on the reception door, the check in document outlined all the rules we had to abide by and details of any extra cleaning charges we’d be liable to pay if we didn’t do things as per the rules. Within 10 minutes of arriving we’d arranged to go elsewhere on the second night and cancelled our accomodation there for the second night, we didn’t plan a getaway to feel like we were on a school camp and have rules to follow. The room was fairly clean, except the fact that bugs can easily enter via the broken fly screens in the room. The facilities I was almost too scared to use, as there is nothing around the accomodation I decided to buy breakfast to cook myself only to be greeted by a stove top that requires a fire lighter and the lighter we were provided had no gas. I resorted to using the Weber bbq to cook at least the bacon I’d bought, bit of a nightmare as it doesn’t cook bacon on the grill very well. The bed was somewhat comfortable, had a few marks on sheets/pillow cases. Overall not much went well, we were almost scared to drive in and out, you really need a car with high clearance to get in and out, we had a 4x4 thankfully. Overall not a good stay, management were not willing to refund any of our stay as we were quite disappointed.

If you are looking for a luxury boutique couples getaway , this isn’t it. While comfortable, the ocean view 2 person villa was very basic. Small shower, small tv, small air con/heater. Set well up the hillside, the location is isolated (so don’t expect to walk to the beach) and while providing a lovely view bring your binoculars if you want detail. If you are after some alone time with your significant other, and load in the supplies, then you can spend a pleasant day. If you don’t mind having drive to do anything other than stroll in the trees on a hill then give it a go.

No one there to greet us just a envelope stuck on the reception door We arrived about 4 o’clock place was clean but freezing Fire did not work was told it’s only for aesthetic reason . So looks nice but no fan to blow hot air into the rooms . There was a air con so we used that if you want to stay in the middle of nowhere this is the place for you . But be warned the drive up is not the best so a 4 wheel drive or a mountain goat is better . My son had a new car low to the ground and it was not good was booked for two night . But only stayed one

Thank you for staying with us. Please note that as stated in the booking details and confirmation we have contactless check in and check out at our property. There is always staff that you can call if you need anything. We ensure that the heater is turned on for arrival if the booking is made with at least a few hours notice to prepare the room. All of the fireplaces and heaters work and if a guest has a problem they can call the hotel staff for assistance. Our driveway is grated on a regular basis, however the continuous use of the roads and weather conditions can make the road rough, but it is suitable for all cars. Best Regards

Best view I have ever experienced in Australia. The property was great to stay in and we especially loved the wood fire. The cold shower wasn’t nice but we managed.
