Stoney Creek is always inviting and has a home away from home feeling. I stayed in a themed suite for the first time. The details make it such a comfortable and refreshing space!! Highly recommend! The staff, extremely busy as it was Friday and they were filled to the brim did an amazing job and treated us with kindness. This is probably one of the worse stays I’ve ever had in a hotel. It’s sad when you pay top dollar for a hotel and it’s dirtier and more unfriendly than the $60 motels. The first room they gave us the door lock wasn’t working and needed reprogramming ( and that didn’t even fix it ) and one of the two beds that were in the room was literally clumpy. I had to pay and upgrade my room just to get something “ decent”. The next room we got was supposed to be an “upgraded “ room and it had one of those fancy massage chairs ( which was broke the remote was cracked on the screen and would only do 1 function) and in the foot of the chair it was so caked in dirt that I almost mistook it for bugs. I spent the first night there with internet issues the internet didn’t work until 1am, and I was told by the front desk that “ they aren’t maintenance or IT and I would have to wait til the following day. The front desk staff actually all the staff there except Tiffany and the maintenance man I think his name was Alex, were super unfriendly and acted totally inconvenienced anytime a question was asked. Finally I needed toilet paper towels and some extra bedding cause the kiddos were staying over and not only did I have to go downstairs to retrieve them I was told “ can’t you wait here for them and “do I have to bring them to you” and to come down for them. They have an issue helping their guest and answering the phone when we try to call from the room. I felt like a burden in this hotel.

The property was a decent stay. What we didn’t like, we were there for an event, checked in and had issues with our keys. Constantly had to go get our keys re activated. Then at 9:30pm someone walked into our room. My husband went to go and talk to the front desk and were told it didn’t show we were checked in so they rented it out to someone else. Then the next morning we woke up to a homeless man sleeping in the hallway 2 rooms down from us. We were on the second floor. Also very inconvenient that the main elevator was down. It was a decent hotel but would not stay again.

You should be able to expect the air conditioner/ heater to be working in your room…not working The Friday night guests above our room were very noisy until about 3:45am and then at 4am a drunk guy is pounding on our door! Not a good experience

We reserved two rooms with king bed accomodations through Expedia. When we arrived at hotel, we first were told we only had 1 room reserved. When I showed the hotel staff person the confirmation email from Expedia she then found the 2nd room but could not accommodate the king room we had already paid for. Hotel said they had overbooked.

We loved their pool and hot tub area but it could have used some repairs(many of the tiles in the hot tub had come off) The breakfast area was lovely with lots of options. There was shower gel, etc. in the bathroom but no soap to wash your hands by the sink.

The room was especially clean and comfortable. Sitting outside in the lawn chairs was a nice way to relax at the end of the day. The TV was extra large for a hotel room and they had HBO and cable stations. It was next door to the casino, but we didn't come for that. There was not much shopping in the surrounding blocks. We enjoyed visiting the Sargeant Floyd Riverboat Museum, the Lewis and Clark Museum, and the Dorothy Percaut Nature Center.

Our room was dirty, crumbs on the sofa, bedding had blood spots on it, there weren’t enough towels for the family suite we stayed in there was no bedding for the sofa sleeper. The carpets look like they hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned in a very long time, the bathroom was dingy and dirty.

At check in our room had not been previously cleaned. Was given a different room with no concerns. Pool was crowded, to be expected with the weather but made it difficult with younger kids. We will stay again.
