"I was overall satisfied. The only reason I am giving 4 is that the fishing pier was really short, so we couldn't really do fishing. Also, there was a constant smell of fungus near the utility room (even after closing the door)."

"This property was hands down gorgeous. There was enough room for everyone. The pool was amazing. The host was amazing. There was a few gnats, but it’s the beach so that was to be expected. Not so much of a pest to ruin our time. The pool is not heated and we didn’t mind at all. It was hot enough outside for us to just dive in. Honestly I miss this place already! I have been singing this property praises to whoever would listen, lol"

"My youngest son graduated from Rice Univ and so my husband and two older children stayed at the house during our visit! The rooms were great-each has their own tv, the beds are REALLY comfortable, bath towels are super absorbent, and there is bath gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided. The owners are quick to respond to questions and initiated to make sure that our stay was going well once we areived. We really appreciated their care and concern. "Clean cozy house 4 blocks from boardwalk. Plenty of space inside and out for relaxing. Huge deck with BBQ and lots of seating. Big kitchen and washer/dryer. Wonderful airy bedroom upstairs with 3 double beds. The house has 1 bathroom which is downstairs ensuite to a bedroom with a king bed and an entrance off the kitchen. Very nice safe neighborhood 1 block from the bay. We would stay here again."

"I went here on a retreat with 8th graders. The property was clean and well prepared. The recreational equipment was all in good order. The kitchen was adequate for cooking feeding a large group. The place would also be excellent for a reunion site. The decking, chairs and outside was spectacular with abundant seating areas in great condition."

"My family and I had a good stay at this property. There were a few things that the host may want to consider going forward to enhance hosting at this property. 1. On the website, the bed layout/ room layout states that in the bottom room there would be two sets of bunk beds and there was only one, so that was something the family had to make an adjustment on. 2. Towels and kitchen utensils. Families will see the number of guest the property can accommodate and assume that there is enough towels...

"Host was very attentive and responded very fast.. Location is right by the University of Houston and is convenient and is close to everything downtown/midtown.. Nightlight was a vibe!!!! Very nice and clean space.. The only issue I had was the hot water heater stopped working but she immediately accommodated my needs and allowed me to use the shower next door.. The house has two sides just to give you a heads up. But overall I enjoyed my stay"
