This was a mixed bag. Great location and friendly staff. The room was modern and the bed comfortable. But room was on the fourth floor that wasn’t really a floor. Like an attic. Low ceiling. Short door. I’m 6 feet tall and was constantly hitting my head on the ceiling. The mirror was too low to see my face shaving. The shower door leaked water onto the bathroom floor. Breakfast room had only about five tables for dozens of guests. No place to sit. Ridiculous

The location is dead center of the old city and a perfect spot for adventure. However, most of the front desk staff are little interested in the needs of the guests. They seem tired of tourists. The room are fine, except for paper thin walls which allow you to hear every conversation or noise from your neighbor’s room. Don’t plan on getting to sleep early (before 11 p.m. in our case). Stay here and take care of your own travel issues, and stay out late and you’ll have a fine stay.

Excellent hotel. Amazing and helpful staff. Large nice rooms . The combination of old and modern construction make the hotel very gorgeous. It is very close to the catedral of Santiago . Breakfast buffet very good. We will be back to Praza Quintana hotel

Brilliant location in the historic maze that surrounds the cathedral. Everything you want to see in this fabulously picturesque city is very walkable (you will get lost!) The hotel utilises a beautiful building and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay.

The room wasn’t ready when I arrived after walking the Camino . They let me store my things though. The room was small , bathroom a nice size and well appointed. It was a fine place just nothing special

We were steps away from the cathedral and multiple dinning options. It is a touch loud at night, but you expect that from the “pilgrims” arriving. :) The staff was attentive and friendly. Great stay over all!

It was just around the corner from the Cathedral. My roof top room had views of the Cathedral. It was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable.

Great location & staffs but need to control molds
Great location and great people working there. Breakfast was nice! Only issue is that our room is at the basement. It has musty smell and moldy walls. So our second night was like camping, the covers were kind of damp and cold. We probably should have ask to change the cover. It maybe better if the hotel has dehumidifier for basement rooms. The air conditioner was run in our room full time but did not take moisture away. With that said, this is a nice hotel, very clean, staffs are very welcoming and helpful, breakfast was nice, and it is right next to the Cathedral, so convenient to the old town and cathedral!

For two out of three nights before the start of our Camino walk, the hotel was having electrical issues at night. The fuses were tripping making a loud noise every 15 second not allowing us to sleep. We complained both nights and ask for some compensation for our inability to sleep. The reception staff kept apologizing but no efforts were made to remedy or compensate.

I had booked a double room with two single beds and was given a room with one double bed for my sister and I. Our room was located in the basement, and had black mold on the walls. We requested a different room. Eventually, after we refused to accept the basement room, we did get another room in the attic area. You could barely stand up. It was supposed to be a double room - what we got was one double bed, one towel, and one paper cup. Thankfully, it was only for the one night. It was very disappointing.

Dear Leslie, First of all, we are sorry that your stay was not to your liking. You were the one who booked an economical room in non-refundable rate. The two beds are subject to availability, as we point out. We are a small hotel, so it is impossible for us to accommodate all bed requests. And what you write is not true, our rooms are in perfect condition. The room was shown to them before and they agreed to it. And on the other hand, you could have requested more bathroom items, towels, toilet paper, since guests can ask for it, and we facilitate it without problem. Have a great day, Kind regards.

This hotel was a beautiful comfort after walking the Camino. The room and bathroom were so nice, and the staff was accommodating and helpful. It was just next to the cathedral, so an easy walk to mass.

This property is lovely and right by the church and in the middle of everything. It is super clean and very comfortable and the staff has been amazing. I had their breakfast, which was convenient and a good value. Be aware if you stay here in the middle of the old town there are people up walking the streets and talking loudly late at night, the church bells also ring every hour all night long. If you’re a light sleeper you need to wear earplugs or find a different location away from the center.

Location is perfect
Hotel is located in the “casco antiguo”. It is imposible to arrive by car. Location is great because is very close to all landmarks. Pillows were uncomfortable and bathroom very small. Breakfast is poor. But my experience was good. Any way, I would return to this hotel

The room was small but adequate however there was a strong musky smell. Also you were able to here water running through pipes within the room. There was an exposed wire in the bathroom which was a concern.
