"This casita is extremely well appointed. Todd and Nancy have thought of everything! There is a generous supply of coffee pods and snacks available. They have provided all basic toiletries and even easy to have forgotten items such as q-tips, hair ties and even ear plugs! The bed and linens are high quality and comfortable. They have truly furnished this place as an extension of their home. The casita is impeccably clean. We recently moved out of state and still have family in the area. The casita is very centrally located with access to multiple dining spots and close to great access. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay here for future visits to the area."

"We gathered some friends and family who used to go to Coachella together to rent this house, hang out and watch the livestream of the festival in mid-April (since we're too damn old to go anymore, haha). Overall the house was really great and pretty much just as advertised. The big bummer was that the weather ended up being cold, windy, and rainy to the point where we stopped heating the pool on day 1 (to save on propane costs) because there was just no way to enjoy it unfortunately. We did take advantage of the spa during sporadic periods of decent weather though, which was lovely. The backyard is beautiful with scenic views, I know we would've been out there about 80% of the trip had the weather been better. The property is up on a hill and very private, which was awesome. The koi pond by the front entrance is a cool touch and the owners even invite you to feed them. Speaking of the owners, they were very helpful and communicative. Inside, it's a little odd how massive the master bedroom & bathroom are - as far as the floor plan, it would certainly be more practical to use some of that immense space for other rooms, haha...but to each their own! The main family room's big TV & sound system were perfect for our purposes streaming the fest, we were really bumping the music and with the doors clothes still weren't disturbing the neighbors at all. The kitchen is large and has everything you need, we cooked all our meals there. All in all it was still a fun weekend!"

"What a wonderful property, arrangement, location, comfort, attention to detail and above all friendly and helpful ownership. If your looking for just a bargain this is not the place. If you are looking for a bargain, with relaxing, beautiful and clean environment our take is Mike's place is second to none!!"

"This guesthouse is fabulous, and much larger than anticipated. The Kitchen is great, and comes well-outfitted for those who like to cook. We found lots of room in the walk-in pantry to store some food we brought with us. Comfy sofa and chairs in the Living Room helped us relax after our busy days in town. Sleep was a dream on the firm (but not hard) mattresses. The property is very peaceful, just what we wanted for our stay, and - if you enjoy horses - it's paradise! Also, as an added bonus, there are citrus trees in abundance, and the generous owners left us some delicious, freshly picked specimens on the Dining table along with an open invitation to pick more, if we wanted. Laurie and Dan are gracious hosts and helped us feel most welcome. We hope to come back again!"

"Overall, we had a really lovely stay. The home is beautiful and spacious and pretty well maintained. Kudos to Fieldtrip for the timely communication and dispatch of vendors when we had issues. However, there were quite a few issues - including no hot water in the morning, a leaky faucet, and not totally accurate listings for the bedrooms/beds. There is a double bed pull out couch upstairs - but it is a trundle with a thin mattress and there is no privacy in that space, as it is in an open landing off of a game room. Given that our group were all colleagues, it was not a pleasant discovery to the person who thought that was their assigned "room" to learn that any of their coworkers might walk by in a common space while they did not have a door. I have reached out to Fieldtrip to see if there's a possibility of getting credited a portion of our stay given these issues and am waiting to hear back. If possible, will update my review."
