If you really want to be in a quiet place surrounded by nature and the best view of Mazunte's Mermejita Beach this is the best option.It has a clean and beautiful pool. the architecture is simple minimalist and elegant.

Great views but you have to hike up 180 rock winding steps to get to the main area. Horrible on hot days. Also they need to install ceiling fans. Rooms have nothing except a bed and a bath. Could use a common area fridge to store food and drinks otherwise you have to get ice daily.

It took me 10 minutes to find the office. They need to add some signs to help visitors to register. In the morning, i needed to checkout and the office was closed . My phone could not make calls out.

The caretaker told us we could stay one more night. But when we returned after sunset in our wet swim suits, all our possessions had been crammed into our suitcases, removed from our room and the caretaker was barring our entry. He said someone else had rented the room! So we were out on the street, looking for a room, and the town was completely full! It was a nightmare! AVOID this hotel at all costs.

The view was great But there's 179 steps to get up to the room. They said there was a restaurant but there wasn't. Eventually someone came to make breakfast. I fell down some steps the first night and tried to call the emergency number but after saying our concerns they hung up on us. No one came. We left early

The view was gorgeous! The room was spacious and there was a good common area and small dipping pool. There are 176 steps to climb to get up to this hotel so if you are a young child or a senior this is not the place for you. You also have to walk up a big hill to get to the steps. the hotel is quiet and off the beaten path of Mazunte but close to town. The hotel is expensive given what you get - no hot water, no breakfast or coffee included. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Beautiful Place
Top of a hill - so great views. Clean, food was good, coffee is excellent. The staff is very accommodating (extra pillows, towels) and bottled water is available (for a small cost). The rooms were clean - we had two rooms, I would rate the fist a 3 star room with some minor insect issues - but this is to be expected in a place with semi tropical weather. We also had a resident iguana who was very charming but shy. The second room was 4.5 star - amazing views, cooler than the other (it was on the very top). Downsides: the hotel is off of an unpaved road that leads to the surf beach. Kinda cool but it is a walk uphill to the main beach. From there it was 175 steps to the top to our room - so expect a bit of exercise. Thought there were other guests, each of the bungalows are quite private and away from one another. Other notes: no hot water - but this again was not a problem, I found the temp to be perfect after a day in the sun. No ice or access to refrigeration, but this was again not a problem for us. The poll we did not use; though the view was fantastic, the water was colder than I would have liked and it had a good amount of sand in there. The reward is an amazing view, romantic setting and falling asleep with the sounds of crashing surf. In my opinion - worth it.

Wild and beautiful but simple
A kind of glamping experience. This place has real character and a wonderful view of Mermejita beach. The place is stylish but intentionally very simple. We stayed in a circular room overlooking the sea with an outdoor shower and toilet which was exclusive to us. No air-conditioning but the sea breeze with all doors open and an electric fan was OK. You are really amongst nature and there is no real security so it feels a bit like camping. Service is very friendly but not great English. Location is very close to Mermejita beach but about 15 minutes walk up dirt trails to the shops and restaurants of Mazunte. Pro: beautiful view, close to nature, stylish design, swimming pool, sound of sea Con:no air conditioning, not much protection from mosquitos, a bit too close to nature when you have to open the toilet seat to confirm no creatures to bite you, no security, a bit far from Mazunte, strong smell of sewer sometimes wafts into room, a bit too basic living for an extended holiday. This is a great place to stay for a few nights in nature.

Exclusive hotel w 5 rooms only
Since there are only a few rooms available, the hotel stuff is there for you all the time. Beach is not that close and there are 150+ steps to get to main road, then 10 min walk (up and down) to the beach. Not suitable for elderly people or handicaps. Great place to get away. Lovely swimming pool to watch the sunset from. Rooms are spacious and clean, they need bigger fans for summer nights though. Good wifi all over the place.

La vista que tiene es magnífica. La alberca tiene una vista espectacular para ver el atardecer, está muy cerca de Punta Cometa. La atención del personal es buena, pero nos tocó la limpieza de la alberca y la limpieza de la habitación no la hicieron correctamente. El acceso es un poco complicado pero lo vale

Mi pareja y yo la pasamos muy agusto, es un lugar muy tranquilo donde se puede disfrutar de los sonidos de la montaña y del mar, el personal muy atento, si conocen a Magdalena se encariñarán de ella, muy atenta y siempre con una sonrisa y eso volvió muy grata la estancia, sin duda regresaría al mismo lugar.

El acceso a la casa es peligrosa ya que la calle es terracería de subida, cuando llueve se hace lodo y es aún más peligrosa. Al llegar no se presentó ningún empleado por lo tanto tuvimos que subir las maletas, la entrada son unas escaleras que van hacia la parte más alta de las habitaciones y recepción y las habitaciones están en montaña, poca iluminación en las escaleras al subir, en la alberca y toda el área externa en general, el minisplit no estaba funcionando y nunca solucionaron el problema, nuestra estancia fue con dos abanicos solamente. La recepción y cocina están cerradas de tarde noche, si necesitas alguna bebida o cualquier otra cosa que requieras tienes que bajar e ir a una tienda que está a unos metros al salir de la casa mermejita y es subir nuevamente en terracería. Comida rica, poca variedad, wifi intermitente.

Que vista!!
La vista es increíble desde los balcones de la habitación o desde su alberca. Algunas cosas ya están un poco viejas ó en mal estado, como los ventiladores y los colchones. Llevar botellas de agua al ingresar, ya que no dan botella de agua o café de cortesía. Vicente es parte del personal que nos atendió, muy amable y atento con lo que se le pregunta.

Considero que los servicios y las descripciones de los servicios que ponen al momento de reservar no se cumplen. En primer lugar, el lugar dice que cuenta con traslados al aeropuerto, asumiendo que son gratis y los cobran como servicio de taxi normal. En segundo lugar, como cualquier otro hotel deberpia de tener por lo menos servicio de cuarto de agua, poner una jarra de agua con un par de vasos en vez de cobrar el agua embotellada. En tercer lugar, el agua de la regadera es inconstante con la temperatura, a ratos sale caliente a ratos sale fría. Por ultimo, no se ofrecen a hacerte el cambio de toallas para la alberca. También hay que hablar de lo bueno... La vista del hotel es impresionante, las camas y las sabanas son muy limpias! Bernardo es muy amable. El mosquitero de la cama cumple con su función.

L’accès à l’hôtel se fait par une route en terre en mauvais état, avant de découvrir les escaliers qui mènent à la pseudo réception. Ne Pas arriver avec de grosses valises !! Prix qualité en dessous de mes attentes

Un lugar muy tranquilo, la vista es muy buena.
Un lugar super tranquilo. Al llegar, no es tan claro donde encontrar la recepción. Pero al llegar al final de la escalera alguien del personal (muy amables!) sale al encuentro. La cama es muy comoda.

Tuvimos la mala suerte de que había menos staff del necesario para la operación del hotel, y a pesar de que el staff disponible fue muy amable, no era suficiente, no había manera de conseguir comida, o alguna atención por causa de falta de personal.

Un GRAN lugar para relajarse y salir de la rutina
La experiencia no es para todos, es un hotel para alejarse de la vida cotidiana, convivir con la naturaleza, y disfrutar de lo sencillo. Dicho esto, si lo anterior es para ti lo vas a disfrutar bastante. La atención de Santos y la comida que hacen entre el y su compañero es riquísima, además puedes pedir cualquier cosa al cuarto desde whatsapp. El único inconveniente que viví fue que deberían compartir el número de manera previa a tu llegada para que les avises cuando estes abajo y te ayuden a subir tus maletas, son más de 100 escalones empinados que con maletas se hacen muy pesados. También deberían limpiar mejor la alberca, ya que está constantemente sucia. Fuera de ello es un lugar con vistas hermosas, atardeceres perfectos y donde puedes dormir escuchando las olas del mar (no hay televisión en el cuarto, lo cual va con el concepto de alejarse un poco del mundo y convivir con la naturaleza). Recomiendo checar cuál habitación hay disponibles ya que tienen varias opciones muy diferentes entre si, depende de lo que busques y quieras. Tienes dos playas cercanas, Mazunte y Mermejita, la primera la recomiendo para nadar la segunda para caminar en la playa y disfrutar del espectáculo que son olas grandes. También está muy cerca Punta Cometa, el mejor punto para ver el atardecer en toda la bahía de Huatulco. Muchas gracias Santos por las atenciones, ojalá solamente mejoren estos puntos. Si pagas con tarjeta hay una comisión del 5% para que lo tengas en cuenta.

Es un lugar que recomiendo mucho ya que las caminatas son inmejorables, te une mucho y hace que todo el tiempo estés cerca de tus seres amados. No es para cualquiera este lugar, es para los que desean estar en armonía, tranquilidad, estar al 100% en contacto con la naturaleza y las sorpresas que de, te pone a prueba gratamente, para los que aprecian los espacios BiEn diseñados y con una exquisita arquitectura ( tienen pocas habiayacuines y todas son únicas) Todos los empleados del lugar son amables, eficientes, en especial Lady. Encontrarás personas de todo el mundo. Aprecie mucho conocer ese lugar y lo que me dio , volveré.

The hotel is beautiful and very well located, the view amazing, the cabana very well laid out the staff is very sweet and helpful but not very good at managing the place . Maybe because we were there low season, week end, and the person in charge wasn’t there, so the kid left in charge was a bit clueless. Very long preparation for breakfast and dinner, as , as he said to me this is not a restaurant :)

Por razones ajenas a mi voluntad, tuve una emergencia que me obligó a regresar antes de lo planeado a la CDMX. El hotel no quiso hacer ningún esfuerzo en comprenderlo cuando les pedí si podían reembolsarme la 2nda noche, aun cuando les avise con más de 12h de anticipación y de tener una tasa de ocupación mínima: solo 2 habitaciones llenas (contando la mia).

Hola buen día En efecto se le atendió su petición de cancelación y reembolso de su segunda noche como lo solicitaba lo cual se le pidió como trámite para que procediera su reembolso que presentara un comprobante legible para proceder a su reembolso como se les ha pedido a otros huéspedes que lo han solicitado de igual manera, de tal manera que sin un comprobante legible no se puede proceder a un reembolso en una salida prematura. Nota: el comprobante solicitado fue una foto de su vuelo de regreso como se le ha solicitado a otros huéspedes.

Personal amable y la vista es bellísima. La comida muy cara para lo que te sirven. Pedimos camarones a la diabla y nos dieron 5 no muy grandes y tantita sopa seca por $150.
