The property is clean and walking distance to many things. The pool area is very nice but also very slippery. You almost need to tip toe around the pool deck to be safe from falling. Upon chevkin the room i rented and paid for was not available so i had to downgrade my room. They did give our family free breakfast to make up for this. I also wanted to book excursions at the excursion desk but they were not very helpful. They took my name and avtivities i wanted to do and contact information and then never not once reached back out to me. Day 2 i booked my own on my own. Overall it was a very good stay. Just a few snaggles but i would definitely stay again.

It was an exceptional stay. The resort offers something for all ages. I was on a trip with just my husband. We booked an Oceanview suite, and I was not disappointed with the view. The rooms are standard, the bed was very comfortable and in the suite everything is available in the kitchen if needed. There are many restaurants to choose from, as you can also go to their sister hotel next door, the Vanderbilt, but the poolside restaurant, Solera, had amazing food. It was the best chicken breast I had by far. The access to the beach is breathtaking. The staff was very helpful.
There were reviews about the noise, I will say if you secure a room near the pools or lobby, then yes the noise can be a factor. We were on the other side and heard nothing as we chose the ocean view suite. The lobby does play music and many guests are in the pool late.
If you are visiting San Juan and not planning to tour other areas on the island, you do not need a rental car. Ubers are easy to get in San Juan, and many of the tours offer pick-up from the hotel.
This resort was exceptional and I would book this location once again and recommend it completely.
