"The apartment was as advertised and the owners were very communicative and helpful. Loved the fact that we could walk to just about anywhere downtown (made trips to Escalante, Central Market area, San Pedro Mall...and the Zoo is literally next door. We paid to visit in the morning and they let us go back in that afternoon without paying. Only "issues" we had was no AC (bedroom ceiling fan)and my 1st world comforts spouse had issues with throwing TP in the waste receptacle rather than flushing....

"The room was very clean and the staff was helpful, but the furniture has seen a better day and the refrigerator even had rust on the door. The safe was broken and you had to go to the front desk to get a hair dryer. And there was a gap under the door which allowed all the hallway noise to come in. IN addition, there's no sign on the outside of the building and the entrance is behind a iron gate so I was not sure I was at the right building, but I rung the bell anyway and luckily it was the...

"Always a great stay at the San Jose Radisson. Great staff very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast buffet Rooms are large and clean soft beds and clean bedding."

"While the building is historic (0ld), the bathroom was updated and functioned well. The room had tile floors and was clean. The staff were very available and helpful to this English-speaking client. The beds are not very comfortable, somewhat on the hard side. But, for the price of the hotel, it was acceptable to me. The hotel is only about 1/2 block from Avenue 2, which makes it convenient for restaurants and shopping. Close to their national museum, and within walking distance of Central...

"Really good place to stay if you want to be right in the middle of the city where the locals are. Even with the hustle and bustle of the area really quite hotel. I stayed in the hostel which is good for 1 or 2 nights. Was also allowed to check in early. Museums are really close to the hotel. As well as el mercado central. "
