We were not able to stay in our VRBO. The air was not working on the floor with all the bedrooms. The owner did not seem to believe us and could not get anyone there until the next day. It was 95 degrees outside and 87 in the bedrooms.

Home was Beautiful!!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was well maintained and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood wasn’t the best, but the property was stunning! There are safety measures on the property for extra security, which was a plus. It’s close to The Riverwalk and almost everywhere else we wanted to go. We were able to get great pics from the balcony. The owner was very responsive whenever we had questions. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

Could have been wonderful but...
Overall, this is an amazing property and location. However, several issues made our visit much less wonderful than we'd hoped and expected. We found quite a few dirty dishes - some on bar & table place settings and others in cabinets. Oven was also quite dirty. No dish towels that we could find so we sparingly used the few paper towels on the one partial roll that was there for use. Sleeping was the worst issue as the 3rd floor A/C was not working at all. We set the Nest adjustments for lower temp upon our arrival (should've called immediately, in hindsight) and expected it would be cooled down by the time we got home from special birthday dinner out. However, upon re-entry, we found the fan was blowing but still not cool at all. Obviously, we all got little or no solid sleep with the excess warmth of that entire floor where all the bedrooms were located. Even after opening the windows (and lots of road & train & rooster noise, etc), the temp barely got down into upper 70s by morning. Definitely something was wrong with system and should’ve been known or at least found when it was prepped for our arrival. Also, disappointed to find no top sheets on beds, only comforters, which is really not sanitary or standard practice, esp for a “luxury” property. Though late in the evening, I let the manager know as soon as we realized the A/C wasn't working at all, and he did attempt to help us reset it... something we had already done though, and with no improvement. We were reimbursed a small percent of the cost, but wasn't enough to make us feel like we'd gotten at all what we paid for. Sad that this special trip was somewhat disappointing, and hope the owner will make necessary improvements to the property, amenities, cleanliness, and overall preparations for future guests.

Our stay at this townhome was amazing. It was very clean and in order. Location was great as it was close to downtown. We were able to take the scooters to and from downtown which was fun and convenient. The host Richie is available if you need to reach him and friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this stay.

Amazing Townhouse
This home is perfect! Super clean, completely stocked with accommodations to make you feel Like you’re at home! The owner Richie is super responsive and even allowed us early check-in and late check-out. My friends visiting from NYC and fell in love with San Antonio and this home was a big part of that! I highly recommend this home for any vacation to SA
