This hotel was easy to find. Check in was quick and the staff was friendly. However, the reservation clerk did not properly code our keys, so we had to return to the front desk from the 8th floor. The parking garage cost an extra $10 and was being renovated. There was concrete dust everywhere, and finding a parking space that was not blocked off or in the construction area made parking confusing and frustrating. The parking garage was not convenient and not worth the $10, but there was no other parking on the street or nearby. The room was spacious and had a refrigerator and microwave. The couch had stains on the arms and the furniture was outdated and very worn. The heating/cooling unit was missing its outer cover and housed several pigeons preventing it's use. The pigeons woke us with their scatching and cooing. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were hard. I wish i had brought earplugs because the light rail station directly below our window was very noisy. The nearby restaurant was permanently closed and the few food items available for purchase in the lobby were overpriced. There was a breakfast area, but breakfast is not included in the price. Food items for sale consisted of donuts, microwavable hot cereal, gas station style breakfast burritos and apples. The nicest thing about this hotel was its location which was an easy walk to theaters, conference centers and sports arenas. Overall, I was very disappointed and would not stay here again.

I loved the view from my 11th floor room. It was excellent day and night. I also enjoyed walking around the area taking many pictures of downtown Salt Lake City. The staff I interacted with were very friendly and professional. The in house gift shop is awesme

The construction in the parking garage was awful. If you’re going to charge for parking then your garage should have more parking spots available. Only one elevator was working and caused longer wait times.

The property is a bit old, there are a few things which could stand to be touched up. The staff is a little bit sloppy. I found a potato chip on the carpet next to the bed from a previous person. That said the light rail from the airport stops right in front of the Hotel, and it is a very short walk to the Salt Palace Convention Center and other venues. I found the staff most pleasant. I did not find any dining at the Hotel but Macy's Food Court is a short walk away with multiple restaurants and there is another Hotel Restaurant just down the street at the Radisson. All in all I thought the property quite acceptable even if the price was a bit higher than one might expect. I would give the property a 2 or 3 star rating.

Stayed for 1 night in the suite with hot tub. The room was clean but felt dated. The only two complaints I really have is at 7 in the morning cleaning service were really nosiy and I had a hard time sleeping in. Which might play into the other complaint. The walls are thin to the point I could hear the next room and all their "honeymoon" nosies.

We were a little surprised to find limited television channels available. No HBO or movie channels to speak of and no DVD player. I loved the feel of the hotel itself and the staff was very nice. But the construction outside was very noisy inside our room.

It would have been very convenient for better dining options, Ways to pack a lunch at the Library next door and when coming back a restaurant. Eating and finding food was a hardship.
