Strongly recommend arm covers on sofas to cover the dirty marks. Also checking the oven trays after every guest to ensure they are clean.

We had a huge room with a queen bed and 3 sets of bunk beds, the queen bed was comfy hut rhe bunk beds were horrible. Would be find for kids but for adults you sank right through the foam mattress onto the metal below. Very hard on our hips, knees, and shoulders. It is right near the water so lots of lake flies but if you keep doors and windows shut the AC keeps you nice and cool. Shared bathroom facilites were clean with lots of stalls so there was never a wait. Overall would visit again but look at room choices closely!

Nice people but the internet connection was really bad. There were killed bugs almost everywhere inside the cabin. Limited hot water (sharing water heater with the cabin next door), no issues there but it's summer time

Convenient for price
Convenient spot near the lake (walking distance) and the redwoods. Room was decent, but I bet all the place is pretty worn out. Showers and kitchen were convenient, price was great, staff super nice.

We stayed here for three nights for our Rotorua visit. It is in the middle of Hells Gate and the Redwoods which is in our itinerary so location served us well and also not too far to the town centre. Not much smell of sulphur here and also walking distance to Lake Rotorua. This is not the first time we booked a holiday park so we sort of know what to expect. But the basics were not met: cleanliness is sub-standard, toilet door is not locking and windows/door didn’t have a flyscreen to let the fresh air in. The starter pack included 1 tiny bar of soap and shampoo and there were four of us. All adults. Good thing we brought our own.

Have stayed at this property a number of times either with car transporter or in a cabin and it suits either situation and is easy to access. friendly people and willing to help if needed with well maintained amenities. Cheers

Quirky dinosaur theme to the camp layout is fun. The facilities are clean and in good condition. The camp was quiet at night and convenient if you have transport. We enjoyed our stay.

We were greeted by a very friendly staff member. Our room was excellent, clean, large, comfortable. Plunger coffee. Great hair dryer. The hot pool was amazing for adults and kids. It's just a stroll to the lake. Our family would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
