“We really enjoyed our stay at the house. We were a little shocked at the advertised dryer being a clothes line. However it did not impede our stay. House was lovely overall and we would come back.”

“This is a great area down by the lake, very peaceful. The boathouse has everything you'd need and is super comfy. Sarah is friendly and instantly responsive to any questions. 100% would stay again. Very pleasant.”

“Great Property, very clean A+. Heating wasn't working for last two nights, thankfully its a warm dry apartment. House manager was happy to drop off a heater however we didn't need it. Over all this is a fantastic, super clean apartment that deserves a 5* rating.”

“Oh my lord! This valley hideaway was one of our favourites on our trip so far. It was an ideal location, beautiful scenery, so quiet, peaceful and tranquil. We loved being at the property and meeting Bob and Cathy. Cannot thank them enough for being so kind, welcoming and warm to us during our stay. They had alot of recommendations on where to go, what to eat it was lovely. They also let us feed their sheep and hold their chickens. It was perfect. We loved the chats and the company. Thank you……

As the sleepout is attached to the main house, you can hear the kids running around and having fun from time to time but it didn't bother us.”

“Close to Okareka lake which my wife would go to each morning to watch the sunrise while the lazy father and son stayed in their beds. We did all do the glow worm kayaking tour on this lake which was amazing and highly recommended. When we looked at the online listing it wasn’t clear that the accommodation is attached to a house. But this didn’t effect our privacy at all. It’s a beautiful house with a close to nature feel about it while still being close to some great activities like the……
