We had an excellent stay at Hotel Paba. The location is perfect and while it is located on the second floor of a building, the signage outside makes it very easy to find. We easily walked to the Colosseum, Forum, Palatine Hill, Pantheon, and so many restaurants and Gelato eateries right on the street. There is also a clean and safe convenient store located right next to the Hotel on the ground floor. The hotel will store your luggage safely before and after your visit if your room isn’t quite ready or you have to check out before you are leaving Rome. Our room wasn’t ready upon arrival, but Lisa offered us another identical room that was ready so we could go ahead and get settled. There is coffee and tea readily available. While the hotel is an old building, which we loved, the room is updated and the bathroom is very updated and clean. We each had huge bags and there was a small elevator so I rode in it with the bags and my husband walked the stairs. I felt perfectly safe in the elevator and it was easy to operate. There was an overhead rainfall shower head instead of the hand held sprayer you find most places. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone. The staff was wonderful and the communication before and during our stay was prompt, almost immediate if we had any issue, which we didn’t except we left to go explore at 7:30 am and no one was at reception yet but they messaged me back on WhatsApp right away.
