"This is an older property but continues to be kept clean and maintained. It is in a good location and noise was not a big issue. (With any motel, there is parking right outside your door/window, which is convenient but does add a bit of noise in the morning.). I have no hesitation staying here during the shoulder seasons but would not pay the approximate $250-300 room price during the summer."

There is a playground, fire pit, outdoor grills, and lake on site. Real fireplaces in the room encourage a comfortable night in your room if you want to relax. "Only things that weren't great were the parking (you have to park in a public parking ramp across the street and schlep all your luggage from the ramp, across the street and up a flight of stairs to check in - none of which is posted anywhere so we kept driving around the hotel looking for a formal entrance or place to unload baggage) and our shower - the shower was great but the drain wasn't doing its job, so we were standing in ankle deep soapy water when done. "Delightful luxury log cabin suite. Friendly staff. Nice pool, hot tub, sauna. Close to but not in center of town: convenient location. Only downside was breakfast: convenience store plastic wrap pastry, coffee, & fresh bananas & apples. Couldn't even describe it as "continental breakfast"."
