"We were recommended this place by a local relative as we were attending a funeral at the hall just 5 minutes away down the road. Turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Only knock is that breakfast wasn’t available in the restaurant as it opens at 11 AM. There was also an issue with Expedia and the motel management regarding double bookings as some of our relatives thought they had reservations only to find out they didn’t and had to make last minute alternate arrangements."

"There were 5 of us for a semi-annual retreat weekend. We had a very relaxing time. All the beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals. "The staff was excellent. They were there to meet us very late in the evening when we checked in. Wish it wasn’t quite so isolated from neighbouring towns and hiking trails, but it made for a quiet and peaceful stay. Safari dome was clean and well-kept. Lovely time!"
