“We had a great stay. I really appreciated the 24hr laundry room. Did not appreciate the restaurant closing early because it didn’t have patrons. We skipped dinner out thinking we could eat there. Had to get a pizza delivered.”

“We stayed two nights at this place.there was one night it was very noisy outside of our door , sounds some people are standing near our door in the hallway and talking and laughing so loud, it kept about couple hours and it was late night. I couldn’t sleep and called front desk and was told there’s nothing they can do. It was so bad experience.”

“Loved our stay. The room was clean and spacious with lots of sunlight. It also has a full kitchen (not that we used it) but it was a nice option to have if needed. The staff was very nice and friendly. In addition, breakfast was included which had a lot more options than your typical hotel. Everything is close by and in the walking distance. Used escooters to get to the national mall. The mornings were quiet at the warf which made for a nice walk. In the evening, it was a lively part of town……

“The location is great! The hotel is historic and has a beautiful lobby. The only thing is that there is no super market in that area if you want buy some fruit or dairy stuff you’ll need to take a Uber.The restaurant is just fine .”

“Riggs hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Service with excellent. The workers were attentive. When I needed distilled water that I could not find at any of the local drugstores, the Bellman went out to buy it for me. Room was cleaned daily. One of the things I like best about the hotel is it is central to all the major sites in Washington DC.”
