This hotel was a great little place to end our stay in Iceland. The rooms were clean & cozy, and while the bed was a little too firm for me, it came with 2 pillows which was a bonus! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was top notch! I’d definitely stay here again!

Stayed there for 9 days with my husband on our honeymoon; it’s a comfortable place to rest between days of adventure and exploring. The breakfast included in the price was great, pastries, sandwich making section, oatmeal, yogurts, coffee, tea, waffles, fruit, etc, also saves you time and money in the mornings. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We reserved this hotel tri-people room for a family trip. The room is very tiny (maximum 10 sqrt m) and the third bed basically is a folded bed. Also the front desk told us only the first floor has this type of room. The bathroom is also terrible. When showing, the bathroom is flooding. I dont' understand why this type of hotel can charge an average !4000 ISK per person per nighrt. Also there is no toiletry, no paper tissue, and only one chair for a tri-people room. The value definitely is minimum.

Dear Yan, I am sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. At the time of your stay with us we only had rooms available on our 1st floor but triple rooms are located on three floors. We really wish you had addressed your issues directly to us during your stay as our team tries their very best to accommodate and fix any issues that come up as quickly as possible. Great hotel, had a fantastic view of all the New Year’s Eve fireworks! Continental breakfast was better than most. Staff was friendly.

Hotel was very nice - plenty of parking in the front and a parking garage in the back with plenty of room inside. Good variety of restaurants around the hotel easily within walking distance. Good breakfast in the morning.

Friendly staff and super clean

Great breakfast! Very pleasant and helpful staff. Tour busses pick up at this location. Not in city center but didn’t matter for our 3 night stay as we had 2 all day tours booked. Easy transport connections to/from airport.

We stayed in the standard double room for 2 nights. The reception was extremely helpful and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel!

Nice and simple furnishings, comfortable bedding. No kettle provided in the room but can go to the restaurant for hot water. Breakfast was great. Had dinner at hotel too as there isnt any options around unless u drive out for 20min

We only had 1 night in this hotel luckily because the room was tiny. It was clean and comfortable though. The provided breakfast was good. There are several restaurants right around the hotel. The location is outside of the downtown area, just a little too far to walk but the free parking in front of the hotel was a plus. The included breakfast was good. We had a very friendly receptionist who told us the northern lights were predicted for that evening and to drive out to the lighthouse to see them because there would be no interference from the city lights. This was our last night in Iceland and I'm happy to say say them at around 12:30am.

Very clean & desk clerks were amazing. Having mobility scooters that fold, it was very convenient to take the bus at times but taxi’s were there very quickly once requested too. Breakfast was very good. Excellent workers there too. Thanks for a good stay!

we were only in the room for 6 hours, the temperature control was broken ( too much heat) and the shower area is not seperate so water was spread everywhere. ( not sure who approved that design )

The staff was VERY helpful with maps and advice, luggage storage. The breakfast was outstanding and there was a happy hour every night. The rooms were clean and comfy, the lobby had appropriate seating. The hotel was not in a noisy neighborhood.

Great stay, close to cruise ship terminal. Nice rooms, modern hotel, higher floor has good view of bay. Superior breakfast included. Nice outdoor deck.

We had a great stay here! Everything was clean, they provided an earlier breakfast option, and parking was easy. If you are looking for a hotel that isn't necessarily downtown, you can't go wrong with Reykjavik Lights.
