The driveway is very long, just keep going, you’ll get there. The Austin dam is minutes down the road, the Potter County Pub is 10 minute drive and a great place for food and drinks."

"Stayed for the weekend. 4 adults, no kids. House was immaculate, beds were comfortable, linens were high-quality, house was well equipped and we ate most of our meals there. House is a little off the beaten path, so you would want to take an SUV to get there, but it’s not so far off the beaten path that you can’t get to restaurants or activities, or that there’s no cell service. "Very rustic and authentic log cabin in a beautiful + secluded location. This is a great spot to just relax and commune with nature and saw plenty of wildlife right on premise. Chris was a most gracious host and went out of his way to make our experience a wonderful one, this is a great place to spend some quality time with family & friends. PS - the stars at night are magical!"

"The highway can be heard from the south side and First Quality Paper factory can be heard from the North. Eventually, the sounds blend into the background but, some users may find this jarring upon arrival. Also, the "air conditions" are evaporative (really just humidifiers) and don't really provide any cooling."

"This cabin was everything we needed and more. What was supposed to be a sunny weekend turned into more of a spring shower kind of weekend, but this house didn’t disappoint! Between the game room and the yard space, the kids didn’t miss out on anything due to the weather. The trees over the fire pit allowed the adults to relax around the fire in the middle of the drizzle. Would absolutely recommend to anyone."

"Hiking weekend in this gorgeous area. Appreciated the hot shower, warm bed, fire ring and charcoal grille. Hosts were available but allowed us privacy to enjoy the beautiful river view. They even provided us a car shuttle when we needed it!. Will definitely stay here again."
