You will love staying in this brand new, spacious 5 bedroom/5 bathroom beach house. It is located in a quiet subdivision overlooking the salt pond just 1 mile from the heart of downtown Bethany!

-Take a dip in our private pool out back after an exciting day at the beach!


-Inside, you will find 2 large master bedrooms with beautiful tile showers,
-1 guest bedroom with a private bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms.
-There are also 2 additional bathrooms located off of the living and bonus room.

- The living room is cozy yet provides enough space for everyone in the family to relax on our large sectional couch with a bonus room upstairs filled with board games and DVD's for the younger ones to enjoy.

-Our massive kitchen will provide enough storage for anything you will bring and the open layout allows for everyone to spend quality time together in one place. Off the kitchen is our beautiful dining area which allows for 16 loved ones to enjoy meals together.

-There are 4 decks that each provide a unique view, 3 of which look out to a serene view of the peaceful salt pond. The views this property provide make this the perfect destination to relax and rejuvenate.

-The location is ideal, with public beaches just 1 mile away and walking/biking trails steps away, nature is waiting for you to take advantage! There are plenty of shops and restaurants downtown, the outlets in Rehoboth and grocery stores right around the corner.

-The property is centrally located so you're never far from what you need yet the neighborhood's private dock and woodsy landscape provide a quiet oasis away from the busy streets of downtown.

*We do not provide linens and towels for this property. We provide comforters, pillows and kitchen towels but you will need to bring sheets and pillow covers. We recommend renting linens from Coastal Vacation Rentals or Gale Force. They pick up and drop off and rent more than just linens.

*Please let us know if you would like to heat the pool as there is a $200 heating fee. We also provide early check-in if available for an additional fee.

*Owners live in a separate in law suite on property.

Quiet lake house near beach with pool
The house and pool were lovely. The beach was about a five minute drive away (walk to beach would have been challenging as down a busy road with no sidewalk). Perfect size for an extended family with 11 people. Our kids really enjoyed the pool and kayaking and paddle boarding in the lake.

Beautiful home in a great location
The house was very nice, clean and accommodated our needs. The pool was the best and I recommend paying the fee to have it heated. A bathroom by the pool would have been nice, having to go in the house and upstairs was a bit inconvenient. The kitchen is well stocked with most things you need although an ice cream scooper would be nice. The bed in the downstairs master is not very comfortable but that is a minor thing. Mike the owner was very easy to deal with and dealt with all our needs in a timely manner. Overall it was a good stay with no real issues with the house, we had a great stay.

We had a wonderful week at Salt Pond. This was our first trip to Bethany Beach and Mike & Abigail were great hosts. The home is clean, well equipped and located a short drive away from the beach and boardwalk. The pool was a huge plus for us too. Highly recommend!

Perfect beach week!
This house was perfect for our family beach vacation. Great location just outside of Bethany. The pool was amazing to have for our kids and for impromptu dips. The neighborhood is quiet with great neighbors and an awesome private dock where we put paddle boards in. The house was beautiful and the owners were awesome! We will def be back!

Great vacation for a family
House is spacious and very clean and perfect for a family with young kids! The pool was wonderful (recommend having it heated) and the location was perfect with a short drive to the beach/boardwalk. The owners were out of the way but friendly and attentive to things like cleaning the pool after a storm. Overall a great place to stay!

Fantastic Beach House
The house is very new and clean. The layout is perfect for a family vacation. The kitchen is large and has everything you need. All of the beds are comfortable and have bathrooms off of them, which is nice for parents of toddlers. The pool is FANTASTIC. We spent so much time in the pool and loved that it's not chlorine. The location is great and it's wonderful that you have access to the salt pond and use of their kayaks. Can't wait to return!

Good stay
We stayed a whole week in August. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable. It’s a great beach house. Pros: 1. The owners are great- very friendly and non-intrusive. They do stay on the property but you don’t really interact that much. This is the first time I had to do that so it was a little weird. The welcome gift is nice touch. 2. Great location- close to all the beaches and restaurants and boardwalk. 3. Kitchen is well-stocked 4. Heated pool- do it! Cons: 1. Mosquitoes! I understand that Mother Nature is supreme and the area is very woodsy but I don’t think it’s ok to be swarmed by mosquitoes just trying to open the front door. The owners should spray the area. I haven’t been bitten like that since I visited Haiti. 2. Members of my party wished there was cable tv in the rooms. The one tv with cable was not user friendly as it was. These were members of the boomer generation who don’t easily reach for iPads. Overall- great stay

As always, our stay at the Salt Pond didn’t disappoint. House was clean and perfect proximity to beach and downtown with the added amenity of a private pool (comes in handy with toddlers).

First stay in Bethany
Our family is very familiar with other Delaware beach towns but the Bethany beach is now high up in our beach rankings especially the end away from the commercial area and that you hit first in the short drive or bike ride from the house. That area had easy street parking (paying). The house pool was a big success too and the house itself was very comfortable and spacious (plus lots of bathrooms) for our party of 12 adults and young adults. We mostly ate at home and found the best supermarket (for produce at least) not to be the closest (Hocker's a mile away) but the GIant Supermarket a 7 minute drive. Mike had been very helpful in our planning before our stay but only one of us saw him during the week (while putting out the trash) so really having the owners onsite was not an issue at all in case people are wondering!

Great Vacation Week
We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation. Very nice welcoming bucket of goodies (local wine, snacks) and house information upon arrival. The house more than met our needs! Modern, comfortably decorated, and very clean. Excellent, timely communication prior to arriving and during our stay. The property is even better than the pictures. Entrance and parking were easy. On the third floor, plenty of adequately sized bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms for our adult kids/significant others. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Loved the small lounge room on the same level as bedrooms. Lots of decks (I think I counted at least three). Washer/Dryer conveniently located. The second floor had a spacious living room/dining table/large kitchen for our large family. The dining room table easily accommodated our family game nights for all to sit comfortably. During the day we were either at the private pool (it is worth it to pay for the pool to be heated), walked to the Salt Pond, or drove a short drive to the Delaware Seashore State Park South - $10 per car, lots of parking, umbrella/chair rentals available (not expensive) or you can bring your own. The private pool is always a primary priority for our family when selecting a vacation property. It was clean and had plenty of umbrellas, chairs, and even some pool toys. We have used VRBO annually for many years. This was the BEST stocked kitchen. Most anything you could need was available to include cooking, banking pans, spices, dishes, glasses, utensils, flatware, etc. Items were in good condition and honestly seemed brand new. Lots of cupboards for the food we brought. Location is perfect on a private lane (so privacy and no traffic). Short drives to groceries, restaurants, Bethany Boardwalk, Rehoboth Boardwalk, and the beach - really very convenient. House air conditioning was great - we have stayed in houses that the a/c could not cool the house adequately - every one was able to sleep comfortably! No issues with owner living on property - we only knew they were there because their cars were there occasionally. They were so gracious to offer use of their kayaks and paddle boards to use in the Salt Pond. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed. Neighbors are friendly too! They gave us great tips for best places to go where the "locals" go. We will definitely come back again. Thank you Mike and Abigail! Suggestions - perhaps add a few towel racks and toilet paper holders in the bathrooms.

One Excellent Week at the Beach
The beach house was amazing! Clean, roomy and well laidout. It had everything we needed. From the community dock (lots of little and big ones crabbing) to the spacious swimming pool, everyone had something to do for the mornings or afternoons we did not go to the beach. Bike trails are close and the house is situated on a private road with little traffic. Hockers (Full) Market was less than a mile away! Talk about convenient! The Kitchen was well-equipped and the multiple decks were enjoyed by all. Mike C., the owner, was delightful to deal with throughout the entire process. Great beach getaway! Enjoy! The Prince Family

Love this house
We had one of our best family vacations ever. Lots of space for everyone to stretch out, play games during bad weather or watch a movie. The kids loved the pool and how close we were to the beach and our favorite restaurants. Would stay here again if available.

Great summer vacation house
Our group of 11 really enjoyed our week in Bethany Beach. The house was clean and well-equipped and plenty big for everyone to spread out. We used Gale Force linen delivery which was convenient. We had hot weather and the A/C worked great. The pool area was perfect for family swimming and lounging. There are many pool noodles and inflatable tubes to use. The owners are very nice and responsive. The location was very convenient, with grocery and liquor stores just down the road, and Bethany Beach boardwalk a mile away. We liked the quiet setting and didn’t mind driving to attractions. Recommend Towers Beach which is a few miles north if you are looking for a less crowded beach (but still with lifeguards, bathrooms, and concession stand). We were very happy and would definitely stay here again!

This was our second summer spending a week on SPR and was even better than last. Close to the beach, lovely pool, clean/spacious rooms and lots of little extras like a welcome gift basket and some basic spices, cleaning products, etc. already in the house. Thanks and see you again next year!

Modern home in picturesque setting
Clean, uncluttered, unfussy, light-filled, restful setting. Lots of windows and balconies. Picturesque Salt Sea Pond is just steps away and we were always alone when we visited it. There’s also a trail and golf course within walking distance. It rained all day one day and we happily spent it indoors. We were two couples and a 9-year old boy, so we had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to choose from. The house could easily accommodate another couple and several children. We had six family guests for dinner one night and there was plenty of seating between the kitchen bar, dining room, and dining room balcony. Our grandson and his cousins loved the pool. The home is a new build, apparently designed to accommodate guests and has pretty much everything you need (though more towel bars would not be amiss).

Great house though could use some improvements.
Our overall experience was great. The house was clean and the location was very convenient for driving a short distance to everything. The pool was amazing. They could make some improvements that would make this a 5 star experience. The kitchen was not fully equipped to handle a large family. Pots and pans and utensils were sparse. There were also no grill tools. The bathrooms didn’t have hooks or towel racks. If some of these small items were fixed this house would be perfect.
